It was okay. I picked up a whole bunch of Pinkalicious books in one library trip but they don't seem to interest Miss 4.
Miss 3 and I like to explore different books and authors at the library, sometimes around particular topics or themes. We try to get different ones out every week or so; it's fun for both of us to have the variety and to look at a mix of new & favourite authors.
I liked it because the girls put on a show and the girls mother came to see the show, 🍲🛡🍲🍬🍥🍲🍥😘😘😉😉😝😎🤡🤓🤡😒🤡😎😎🤡🤠💎🍧🍧🌮🍟🍥🛡🍮per hope. Seemed ok. Good way to think creatively but was lacking something
I love how in this book, using your imagination to design is the focus! The things they use to make their clothes is so cute! My daughter loves pinkalicious :)
I’m sure Maddie’s about to start making clothing out of random things now, lol. I spent this entire story confused until it finally hit me that it wasn’t a Fancy Nancy book.
There’s a bunch of good things, except them using mommy’s dresses and stuff. But what will happen next? Will Pinkalicious use frosting for the cupcake dress, or will she use fabric? What??!
It was okay. I liked the encouragement of creativity - the girls started making their own things. I wasn't as thrilled with Mom's reaction to their playing in her closet: a blanket "get out of my stuff," instead of a "you didn't ask first." Also, when the boy wanted to play, they told him to be the photographer instead of letting him make an outfit, too.
