Selling Lean to the Executive leadership is the aim of this book. If you are looking for a real nuts and bolts book that gets you into the nitty gritty of lean this isn't it. There are other books that do a better job of that. If you are looking for a book that tells the executive leadership why lean is best for their hospital then this is the book to recommend. Some of his points are a bit too "non-negotiable" and could be toned down but based on his background I am sure that comes with the territory.
