He stood in front of me looking sexier than I ever remembered him being. She stood next to him with pride in all of her perfectness. All I could focus on was his hand on her back. It came out of my mouth without even thinking.
“Jackson,” I said. “This is my boyfriend Chris.”
There was no way I was going to let him think I was single. I couldn't do it. He didn't need to know just how much that one night with him had impacted my life or that ten years later, he was still the only man I thought about.
I could feel my best friend's eyes on me and knew I was in trouble. That would have to wait. I had to focus on getting through the rehearsal and dinner with my family and HIM.
It wasn't as easy as I thought it was going to be. The tension was mounting, and I wasn't sure we were going to make it through without one of us losing it.
All we had to do was get through the wedding.
How hard could it be?
I should have know that nothing was that easy when it came to HIM.

Was basically finishing these last two parts off. The first part of the book (which could have been a full book), ended in a cliffhanger, so I wanted to finish off the story.

Fewer typos and omissions in this part. Good story line that has me hooked and staying up just to finish part 3. Sharon does a great job at ending a book part at the most exciting point of the story!

Short but so good!
And it is short, way too short. Stopping at seventy three percent of a novella-sized read, this story had me swiping forward in disappointment! I knew this was a serial, I knew this was only the second of three parts, but I want – need - more Jackson and Tina… NOW!
These two had a complicated history and after ten years of no contact, the reasons why they separated have not changed. What also hasn’t changed is their fascination with each other.
“Where was the girl I grew up with? What the heck happened to her?”
Tina was determined to show Jackson that she was no longer the girl he knew and she was not in love with him. She wasn’t. Not at all. Yes, she keeps trying to tell herself that… Bringing her best friend Chris along to support her, to be a buffer, was going to be the best thing. Yes, Tina was living in a dream world… And she couldn’t help but poke the bear as she realizes her feelings haven’t changed…
Told from alternating points of view, the wedding weekend is proving to be difficult for both of them. If that means the heat is inching to scorching, then difficulty is the perfect word. You can feel the tension between the two and soon others are going to be drawn into what was, up until now, a very private battle between them.
“Most women did exactly as I said and took any kind of s**t I gave them. Tiny was really p**sing me off.”
When push comes to shove and both Tina and Jackson’s emotions explode, the problems they are dealing with are just going to get more complicated… and entertaining!
Bring on part three, please!

Tina is almost done deceiving her family, and so ready to go home with Chris and away from Jackson but like always everything is not as easy as it should be.
Jackson is holding on and don't know how long he will have to do so. Being this close to Tina, his Tiny, is making it very difficult to be near her and not hold her in his arms. Knowing she is so close but yet so far is taking a toll on him.
Oh my this story just keeps getting better and better. Not only does Jackson sounds hotter than ever but their history is so strong it makes it so difficult to stay upset at either Tina or Jackson. This short yet incredible story will leave you wanting more.
I can't wait to see how this story comes to an end. I recommend this trilogy you don't want to miss it.

Loving the one woman that is off limits gets harder when she shows up at his best friend wedding with a boyfriend. Jackson has to deal with not only loving her from a far but having to see another man put his hands on her.
Seeing the man that she has loved all her life again is doing crazy things to Tina, he anger turns her to lie and say she has a boyfriend.
This story is filled with moments where you just want to lock these two in a room and let them figure out their s---!
You will be yelling at you reader when you get to the end of this book ending in a cliffer and hoping for a favorable outcome. Sharon keeps us in suspense. Communication is the key for our couple, cuz they have the passion in spades.

ok finally book 2 and we start were we left off in bk 2, we are at the wedding rehearsal of Tim and Renee and Tiny has everyone beliving that her gay best friend Chris is her boyfriend and Jackson is pissed especially when he catches Chris kissing another man, how much longer can Tiny keep it up futher more how much longer are Jackson and Tiny going to be hard headed I just want to shake them ugh!! well alot of truths will surface but we are only teased , please let me have bk 3 early lol. loved it.

I'm so glad to say that the second instalment in Jackson's and Tina's story is even better than the first, there was so much tension at the rehearsal of her brothers wedding that it leaves her deceiving her family into believing her friend is her boyfriend, by doing this she angers Jackson who doesn't feel the guy is good enough for her. Tina just wants to escape and go home but has to be there for her brothers wedding.
Jackson wants Tina so badly but is afraid what his best friend would say and what her family will think of him.
Warning this book has an awesome cliffhanger!

Holy stars, Tina said Chris was her boyfriend at the rehearsal. Jackson's eyes were shooting daggers at Chris the whole wedding weekend and the things that happened in this part had me laughing at Tiny and Jackie. Their dialogue was so hilarious at times and I think it was because we know as the reader that they are still in love with each other. And the cliffhanger ending has me in angst to know what happens with Tim and Jackson and Tiny and Jackie. I love this series so much, can't wait to read the next part. If you read part one, you will love this part also.

This was another great read from Sharon Cumin! In book 2, we pick up at the wedding of Tina's brother where she has run in to Jackson, a man she has been thinking about for the past 10 years. In book 1 we were introduced to the couple and their history leading to why they don't talk now. In book 2 we watch as the couple makes it through a wedding while having to struggle with their inner emotions. Just when you think the story is getting good, and everything is out on the table, this book ends and leaves you waiting for more! Can't wait to read the 3rd book to see how this all ends!

This author creates just the right amount of drama that will have you wanting to read more of her book. This is the 2nd book in this series and with the way that this book brought out the drama that will leave you wanting to smack the author several times it will definitely leave you wanting the final book in this series NOW..

I was so excited to start reading this series. In book 1 you get a feel for the characters Tina and Jackson. From the start their was so much tension between the two. When I started reading book 2 I found that I'm super excited for these two to finally let go of all the crap and get together. This story is starting to heat up and unfold before everyone's eyes. I'm dying to know where they are heading next. This is a must read series with interesting characters and a great storyline

OMG! This story is getting exciting! Tina doesn't want anyone to think she is lonely so she tells lie after lie about her and her friend Chris. Tina thinks Jackson is trying to buy everybody's love. Then the unthinkable happens and Jackson is left having to explain everything. This cliffhanger was great. Now I have to wait for the next book.

This is part 2of 3 where Tina and Jackson's actions from the past affect them today. Her very out there personality has everyone who knew her growing up mystified. But Jackson is bound to find out everything that makes her this way. Will it be too much? Or will he not like what shaped her emotionally. Part 2 kept me wanting yo continue to the finale part.

This is a great second installment! Jackson gives dense, alpha male a whole new meaning. Poor Tina, my heart breaks for her. I can't wait to see how the story ends!

Great story with lots of angst, heartache & misunderstandings. Part 2 picks up right were Part 1 left off. Tina plays games with Jackson until the both snap. Excited to see what happens next!
