Once it got going, it was ok. It felt disjointed for the first third if the book. Maybe I wasn't paying great attention or I read it to distracted and I missed stuff, but it did get better. I did not like Blair, Chase's daughter. I understand why, with her mother the way she was, but that still did not give her the right to have that big of an attitude without reprimands or discipline. Maggie was also a closed minded person who refuses to listen or take a joke. She always took things the wrong way and refused to listen to explanations. Chase was a great character. He tries so hard to get his daughter to like him even when she was spitting insults left and right at him.
