What had started as a harmless highway flirtation with a sexy mystery motorcyclist had ended in disaster. Genevieve hadn't meant to hit the bike, but it was raining, and she'd been in a desperate hurry. She'd stolen the priceless Liberty stamps, determined to replace her grandfather's forgeries with the real thing before anyone found out--and now this!
But running into Griff Cantrell had some advantages. The man was unstoppable--angling for a date before he was even out of the ditch. She needed help, and Griff was more than willing. The price was her liberty--the reward, however, a lifetime of loving.
This was a very enjoyable read. Our heroine's careful life is shook when she learns that her grandfather has been blackmailed into forging some stamps and she goes out to help correct this, stealing the real stamps with an idea that she would replace the forged ones. While she is on the run so to speak she keeps coming across our motorcycled hero who she comes face to face when her car hits him during pouring rain. She rescues him and takes him to the hospital and since they intend to go to the same place the hero asks her to take him along. The heroine has no intention of doing so since she is about to commit another crime but the hero doesn't give her an option. This was on the road kind of romance and I liked it a lot. The hero/heroine grow closer in a matter of days sharing their live stories and more and I felt their connection was real. Of course there is a reason the hero has been so close-by the heroine. I found the scene where the hero's bosses think the hero's good reason has been seduced by the heroine hilarious as did the heroine. A very nice one from Naomi Horton again.
