With a racist jerk as a boss, there was no way she was sticking around, even if it meant saying goodbye to her steady paychecks.
However, her luck may be turning around thanks to the disgraced (but handsome) basketball star Allen Rodgers.
Allen’s PR manager has devised a plan to get his image out of the gutter: she’s going to hire him a wife to give him a gentler, more family friendly look.
And that's where Belle comes in!
Responding to a job post for a personal assistant, she soon finds a completely different offer on the table; one that involves posing as the Allen’s wife and receiving a handsome paycheck in return.
But with Belle and Allen spending so much time together, will they be able to deny the real feeling that start emerging?
Find out in this super sexy romance by respected BWWM Club author Steffy Shaw.
Suitable for over 18s only due to sex scenes so hot, you'll want your own hunky basketball star to take home.
The book title, pic, and description made you think that the hero and heroine we going to have a fake wedding and that was the reason I decided to read the book. However it's not like that. I'm trying not to give too much away for those who plan to still read it.
The chemistry between the hero (Allen) and the heroine (Belle) is not quite believable to me because they meet on the day they are going to use this publicity stunt to improve his image and next thing you know they are seriously in love with one another. I believe in instant attraction but the hero and heroine are not allowed enough time to have truly fallen in love with one another.
I think that if the author had added more details to the idea of the fake wedding it would have made the chemistry between the hero and heroine more believable.
Oh my god that was ridiculous. It was in need of a complete editing overhaul and absolutely too far fetched. But it was sweet and cute and a nice way to start the day. Also, there was no wedding at all. It should have been called The Millionaire's Fake Live-In Girlfriend.
This was a terrible book. The premise, though clichéd and over done could have been fleshed out and elaborated on to give the story SOME kind of believability. It reads like a word conscious short story written for a ninth grade English class. None of the characters involved were remotely believable and the conflict was petty and boring. Glad I didn't have to spend money on this or I'd have been angry.
This is a story about a young Professional athlete. Who made one wrong decision and hearted him for a whole year. His PR manager came up with an ideal to help get his image back on track . Upon doing this he fell in love with the person she hired. This is okay with you. I felt like the book was undeveloped and I did not like the way the book abruptly just ended..
Good plot...under developed story, plot and characters.....poorly executed plot...fairytale great, but to go from showing you around the home to jumping your bones to love in 2 days.....i felt like the middle of this story was cut out. you had the beginning and the ending...there was no middle
This is the 1st story I read by Steffy Shaw. The story line was boring. I thought Belle was rude. The story didn't grab my interest at all. I would read other books by Steffy Shaw
