I read this book while preparing for NET/JRF. However, its function is much more than that of a key to pass an examination. This encyclopedia gives a glimpse to the endless ocean that is literature, and works as a guide and a lamp to any enthusiast who is new to the field. This is a work of concentrated effort aimed at helping those who are willing to learn, and is hence a mandatory possession for all admirers of literature (even film, fine arts and music, as a glimpse through the pages will tell you). Eagerly awaiting the rest of the volumes.
