A treacherous winter storm brought him to me. While the wind ripped, freezing everything in reach, he was a warm distraction, albeit a constant reminder of what I'd been missing. I thought I'd never see him again. I was content with it being a one-night-stand.
Two long years later I open my door to see him standing there, and the reason he's back will change everything.

Amantha used to be sociable. She used to be outgoing. She used to like parties. She used to like dressing up. She used to be a lot of things before she lost her entire family in a horrific train accident. Now, trying to hide from the stares of pity and numerous questions she’s living the life of a hermit in Alaska. Far away from the nearest civilisation, she only has her dog Ava for company. But that’s all about to change when she meets Easton. Forced to spend one night together it soon turns steamy. Although he leaves the next day he leaves a lasting impression and when he comes knocking on her door two years later with a surprising declaration, both of their lives will change forever.

This was my first read from Jennifer Foor and what I expected to be a straightforward little romance for some light entertainment, turned out to be anything but. The hits just kept on coming with this fast-paced read as the couple dove in nose-first into a winding path full of twists and turns. I don’t want to give away too much of this story but suffice it to say I let out more than a couple of audible gasps.

As both characters are dealing with loss and guilt there are also many other complex emotions they need to deal with and their affair was anything but frigid. I loved both characters because of their complexity and I though their inner turmoil was brilliantly written. So this may not have been the straightforward little romance I was looking for, but it was definitely an enjoyable ride with loads of steam.

~ 3.5 - 4 Stars ~

I have to say I have conflicting feeling about this book. That's why I wasn't able to give it a solid star rating. I really enjoyed the storyline of this book and that's why I gave it 4 stars, but I trouble connecting with the characters of this story and I really didn't like Amantha much. That's why I gave it 3.5 stars. I think had the characters bond and Amantha been more likable, this book would've been a solid 4 stars.

Frigid Affair is a stand alone novel from Jennifer Foor. I have been a huge Jenn Foor fan since the beginning. I find her books always have interesting story lines and are usually stocked full of emotions. She always has me crying at some point in her books. This one was different though. I didn't get all the emotional feels I usually get with her books. I didn't cry once during this story.

Now that's not to say I didn't enjoy the story line, because I truly did. I can't say a lot about it because that would ruin a lot of it. I loved that she put some shockers and twists and turns into this story. This is a fairly quick read, one that can be read in an afternoon. Even though this book seemed shorter than Jenn's other books, this didn't lack for anything. I thought the characters were well developed and the storyline was just as thought out as her other ones. The storyline is what kept me hooked and turning the pages, because I wanted to see how everything was going to work itself out.

In Frigid Affair we meet Amantha. This book is told solely from her POV. She is a woman who has tragically lost her whole family in a train accident and has decided she wants to isolate herself from society. She moves to Alaska to a cabin high in the mountains and pretty much becomes a recluse. That is until one night she is awoken by the sounds of a fire down the mountain and goes to check it out. She runs into a handsome stranger. Said stranger saves her life and demands to take care of her to make sure she will be okay. Little did she know this stranger was going to change her life forever. I can't say more on that because it would spoil the storyline. Just know Jenn keeps things interesting ;)

Just because this wasn't a 5 star read for me doesn't mean you shouldn't give this book a try. I think many will end up really liking it. If you are a Jenn Foor fan than you should definitely read this book. I thought it was different from her other books.

Jennifer Foor’s latest standalone, Frigid Affair, has a very interesting premise. From the opening pages it’s clear it’s going to be a suspense romance and the back story is set up in the first few chapters. Amantha Stone is living in isolation after having lost her parents and brother to a tragic accident. What motivates her to change her life the the way she does is clear early on. The story then flash forwards a few years to the night Amantha’s life is changed completely and the story line builds towards a mystery.

Frigid Affair is well paced and plotted read that will keep your attention. A lot happens in the first half of the book as Amantha finds herself in a situation that would make most very suspicious, which she is, but 4 years without companionship will drive a person to act a little recklessly. This changes her life, changes who she is, and leads her towards a new understanding about unconditional love and forgiveness.

I gasped at about the midway point when Foor delivers a great plot twist. People aren’t who they seem and who they turn out to be that will have you shaking your head. She is one of those no-bull characters and I like the fact that she really lives her life with no regrets. I felt a lot of empathy for her early on, but some of her choices led me to feel disconnected from her. We spend a portion of the book learning about her through inner dialogue but then her actual interactions with people didn’t always reflect who I thought she was. She was so careful, so sensible about covering all the bases. But, she’s not very warm and it’s only her encounter with one man that shows a totally different side of herself. But when she decides to let guard down, she does so with a bit too much gusto. This does help make the story more interesting, but I just didn’t think it made her all that endearing.

Frigid Affair is the fourth book by Jennifer Foor that I’ve read and I do love the situations that she presents. The steamy scenes are good and Foor does a great job getting to a satisfying ending.

3.5 stars and recommendation in romantic suspense

While a huge Jennifer Foor fan, for some reason Frigid Affair didn't hit the mark for me. I had a hard time connecting to Amantha and Jensen.

Amantha suffered a huge loss and decided to move herself to Alaska to be alone for a while. She needed to get as far away from the memories as she could. Living up on the hill with her dog Avalanche, Amantha was content. Lonely, but content. That is until a stranger showed up in her neck of town.

After being alone for as long as she was, plus the chemistry between them, it was a no-brainer for her and the stranger to hook up. One night is all she wanted. One night to let herself feel again and he would be gone. If it were only that easy.

The book is well written and I am reviewing vague as to not spoil any of the story line. I really liked how independent Amantha was living out there in no mans land on her own. Jennifer Foor throws us for a few loops, but it wasn't enough to really get me on board with the story as a whole. I never felt an attachment to either character, even after all secrets were revealed.

I received a copy of Frigid Affair by Jennifer Foor in exchange for an honest review.
This was the first book i have read by Jennifer Foor but it certainly won't be my last. I loved the characters in Frigid Affair and how they really do overcome a lot of mental obstacles in order to be together.

This beautiful romance really does centre around grief and finding it within yourself to have a second chance at love. Both Characters have been through so much and really a lot of it wasn't their fault. You get a good look at the consequences of somebody else's actions and how big a ripple effect they can cause.

I found the heroine and the hero to be such realistic characters and the problems they face were heartbreaking to read. The epilogue at the end was such a little ray of sunshine and tied this wonderful book together beautifully.

I would certainly recommend this book and I look forward to reading more books by Jennifer Foor.

A sweet love affair that began as something like a fantasy- a woman living alone in the middle of Alaska just happens to have her life saved by a sexy man who was in the right place at the right time. After their passion filled night together they don't think they'll ever see each other again. But fate has something different in mind.
Amantha made the choice to live in self imposed isolation after losing her entire family in a train wreck. She's grown content with her basic life without relationships. She doesn't see it as running away from her grief, but that's how I view her actions.
Discovering that Easton has his own past that he's running from throws a huge twist in the story. All of a sudden Amantha's past can't be escaped anymore. She has choices to make that will affect the course of her entire future. She can use her pain to push Easton away or she can decide to deal with it and put some faith in another person.
A perfect HEA that will leave you feeling warm inside.

Frigid Affair was previously published in a limited edition box set as a short story, but Jennifer Foor has revised and expanded the story to be a full novel. Since I am a huge fan of hers, I couldn't wait to read this story. The blurb really sold me on this story though, and I couldn't wait to read it!

After a tragedy took everything from her, Amantha headed to Alaska to start over. She needed a place that wasn't a constant reminder of everything that she had lost, and living off the grid gave her a way to move forward. But when a winter storm and another tragedy bring her a handsome stranger, she decides to make the most of it. What Amantha thought was a one night stand is quickly realized to be more when the man she spent the night with shows up on her doorstep two years later.

I liked the characters in this story and I felt badly for both of them. They had been through so much and that had changed their lives forever. In each other they were able to find a connection that they hadn't felt with anyone else, and I knew if they could get past everything that they would help one another heal. While I did like them together, I didn't feel entirely invested in them. I had a tough time connecting with them, and felt like there was just something that wasn't clicking for me. They were likable enough characters, but there was just something that kept me from really getting into their story. Part of that could have been the length of the story, as I felt like there was a lot of this book that they weren't together. I think had I seen more of them getting to know one another and spending time together without all of the past issues getting in their way that I might have felt differently. They definitely had chemistry though, and I did believe that these two cared about each other.

Overall, I liked this book but I didn't absolutely love it. I wanted to connect more with the characters and story, but I just wasn't able to. This book had such a different feel than what I have previously read from Jennifer Foor, and I think that her taking it from a short story to a full novel might have hurt it somewhat. It didn't feel as though it was entirely complete or pieced together correctly since we didn't get much of these two actually together. It almost felt like the story had been spliced together and didn't flow as well as her stories normally do. It was still good, but I think this book had the potential to be so much more. I will admit that I never saw the twist coming, and that is why I have been vague here about the story and characters themselves. I don't want to spoil anything since I was really shocked by everything that happened. I absolutely love Jennifer Foor's books though this wasn't my favorite, and I know I will read more from her in the future. I love how different and unique her books are, and I always know that anything I read from her will be unlike anything I have read before.

Why has it taken me so long to read anything by Jennifer Foor!? This was my first Jennifer Foor read, and I must say it will not be my last. This was a wonderful, mildly sized novel, that held my attention from page one all the way to the end. A well-written novel that will have the readers head spinning from the twists and turns, I have to say this was not what I expected it to be at all.

Amantha has become a hermit. A terrible tragedy has landed her on the lone mountainside of Alaska. Somewhere she had once visited, and had vowed to find her way back to; she just never expected it to be in her early twenties. Her life is mundane, but she grows used to it, and the never ending lifestyle of living on her own, and surviving off the land. When a fire hits close to home, she doesn't expect the man that saves her life to be the person he turns out to be. A one night stand leaves the couple stranded for a short while before the man disappears.

Easton saves Amantha from a burning house - not her own - but their chemistry hits right off, and the couple find themselves in the best possible situation. A one night stand leaves them with so much more than they bargained for. Who would have known that the circle that started Amantha's hermit lifestyle would end with the one person she never expected to meet in her life time? Easton turns into her rock, in more ways than one, that leaves the couple hungry for more by the end of the novel.

A very well written novel, that again, I cannot believe I waited so long to pick up something from Jennifer Foor. Amantha, and Easton had some wonderful chemistry that flowed seamlessly throughout the novel. There are a few twists to this novel, and I will say I was blown away when it all came to light, and I guarantee this is one read you will not want to miss.

What a crazy story. So much emotional angst, but the author does a wonderful job of getting you to feel what you are reading and hoping for things to work out for the characters.

The characters are broken… You have Amantha Stone who has lost everything from a devastating accident, and she needed to get away from her past. She moved to the top of a remote mountain in Alaska and is living off the land. (Not something I could relate to… give me cable and the internet) The closest neighbor she had was down at the bottom of the mountain and she could see the home from hers. One night she sees there is a fire at the home and she goes down to try to save it. That is when she meets “Easton Pratt”. Let me tell you what, when you have a woman who hasn’t been with a man for years, and have her meet a hot, firefighter, things get HOT!

“What damsel doesn’t want a sexy man coming to her rescue, only to want to ravage her all thought the night? He wasn’t exactly a lumberjack, but a fireman would equally suffice.”

Well, that is when everything changes… there are so many twists and turns in this story you don’t know which way is up. I didn’t want to stop reading it because I needed to know what happened next.

This is a story of loss, love, and hot and steamy sex.

I have read some reviews saying things about how they are disappointed in the author and this story… I loved the story… outside of the angst…I can live without the angst so that is why I only gave it a 4.5… it should have really been a 5 star book, but I am just not a fan of angst, but it is a FANTASTIC story and it shows that this author has the ability to write anything, and write it well.

I am a J4 fan through and through so I am always excited to see what she has going on. Frigid Affair was a bit different than her other stories and also very fast paced even though it spanned over a couple years.

It starts slowly as a simple story of a woman who took drastic measures to leave home and start all over after a devastating loss. Now high up on an Alaskan mountain she spends her time alone and living life in a way that would drive me mad !! Boiling water for baths and fire for heat etc etc...
The details of her living and what she does to survive are impressive but again I would go crazy !! When she least expects it a freak accident has her in the arms of a stranger. Without family or many visitors Amantha is easily excited by Easton and although he doesn't stay long he leaves a big impression on her. Time goes by and her seasonal trip into town gives some unexpected news. Now with another life changing event taking place Amantha has to make choices to change her way of living and even with the prospect of going back to it soon it will never be the same. Of course years later when the sexy stranger comes back we find out there may be more connections than we initially thought and the big twists come into play. What will come of Amantha and Easton and will there be an HEA for anyone ??

I was captivated by the connections and the heartache of both, that really won me over. I would have been satisfied with a quick story of a chance encounter but the connections made it feel more complete. I will say I didn't relate to either character very much BUT again their heartache made them real and likeable. Always waiting and wanting more from J4 !!

Amantha's biggest worry used to be the right clothes to wear, was outgoing, and just all out sociable. Until the day that her whole world imploded with the death of her entire family in a horrifying train wreck. She couldn't take all the pity stares, and media stalking, so she packed up and moved to Alaska. Now she lives like a hermit in a cabin without electricity, on a mountain. Her closest neighbors only stay in their cabin in the summer, so when Amantha noticed it on fire, she goes to try to save it and/or the important stuff, but she passes out from the smoke. When she wakes, she's comes face to face with a hot man who rescued her, and he's going to spend the night at her cabin to make sure she's okay. They spend a HOT night together, and in the morning he leaves. Now two years later, he's back knocking on her door. The secrets revealed will change both of their lives forever.

Frigid Affair got my attention from the beginning, and I devoured it in one sitting. The character development is great, with the layers being slowly peeled away like an onion causing tears to flow. A fast paced, original, and well written story line flows smoothly. Jennifer ( <- best name EVA) Foor does a fantastic job writing an emotionally charged story. Her brilliant twists and turns are totally OMG WTF moments that I never saw coming. The sexy scene goodness is SCORHIN' HOT, but my one issue is that I feel the ending is too rushed making it fall flat to me after all the intensity of the story. Overall, a great read that I highly recommend!

unForgettable Tragedy, Frozen Tundra, and Fevered Titillation!!

This is one affair you don't want to miss!! Jennifer Foor delivers another beautiful story complete with tears, joy, anger, love, and frustration. And now a bit about the story...

After years of living alone and dealing with her personal cobwebs ;) Amantha's new solitary life is interrupted by an accident. The accident quickly turns into a night of passion that forever changes her life. Can she look past her fears to gain a happy future?

Favorite passages:
- I didn’t have a garbage truck that showed up on my front sidewalk each week to take away my waste.
- “They come by plane, and if the emergency requires immediate attention you’ll probably croak before help arrives.” “Doesn’t that frighten you?” What petrified me was rotting away with cobwebs in my vagina.
- I’d picked up a potty chair in hopes he’d learn, but all it did was collect dust. Sometimes my little smarty pants kid would pour juice in it and show me, like I’d think he used it. What kind of baby genius had I created?
- I wasn’t saying I was all for being a united front, but it was time to put my big girl panties on and accept the things in my life I couldn’t change.
- I knew how life could take unexpected turns without notice. I had to keep my guard up, because it was the only way I’d ever be able to handle another devastating loss.

Though different from her other books, this story hit all my favorite things I've come to love from Foor's books. Mystery, unexpected love, and developed characters. I applauded her decision to isolate the main character and have her be so self reliant. From the beginning I fell in love with her and was intrigued to learn more. I felt her pain and need to start over where no one knew her. That being said, honestly, her name annoyed me to the point it started to distract me from the story itself. Not since the disaster of Renesmee has a character's name irked me so badly. Name aside though, I truly did love this story.

Literally her knight in shining armour, I enjoyed the mysterious way Easton came into her life right when she needed him. I kind of wish that we'd had some chapters from his POV because I would have loved to see what was going through his mind in some pivotal scenes. Regardless, he was obviously a man battling many personal demons. There was an equal mix of surprises and saw that coming a mile a way's that it created a happy balance for me. I truly would have never guessed his secret, and I love that the author went there. Not quite a full length novel, but slightly more than a novella, this is the perfect book for a few hours of reading on the couch. You won't be disappointed!

An emotional 4 star read.

I have always been a huge Jenn Foor fan. I was very curious where this book would go. It is nothing like Jenn's other books. I enjoyed it, but it was a little short for my liking. It did not take away from the storyline though. As always Jenn delivers. This is an emotional journey of two very broken people that have both suffered from very tragic losses.

One night, a blazing fire (literally and physically) and a steamy evening of passion bring these two damages souls together, helping them numb the pain that has succumbed them for so long. But is one night enough to break through their broken hearts?

This is where the plot thickens. I never saw it coming. Jenn definitely throws you for a few loops. Twists and turns that are sure to take you by surprise.

This was an emotional read. I will say it started a little slow, but it did kick up for me a few chapters in. I really enjoyed it. I feel Jenn stepped outside her "normal" on this book and delivered. The story flowed very well and being a shorter book she did not rush it. I enjoyed both Amantha and Easton's characters. My heart hurt for them. They both endured such tragedy in their lives but yet were amazingly strong people. Just when you think you have nothing left to live for, fate finds a way to intervene.

I am a huge Jenn Foor fan! I typically devour each book of her’s in one sitting without coming up for air. This wasn’t necessarily the case with Frigid Affair. While the story of a young woman living alone after facing such loss only to be tempted by a connection with a stranger had me completely intrigued, the overall story wasn’t exactly the page turner I’d anticipated.

Frigid Affair has a slow start that will eventually creep upon a good storyline with twist and turns to engage you. Although Frigid Affair didn’t captivate my attention immediately, I did enjoy reading it once the story opened up causing its characters to delve into why they’d chosen the life they were living. Even though I’d taken interest in what these characters outcomes would be, I found it hard to really connect and root for these characters like I have with others in Foor’s books. To me, it seemed as if the story was overshadowed a little too much by the pasts. I missed the characters passion outside of the bedroom.

With all that being said, I can still easily give this book a 3.5 stars. It still contained the steamy love scenes we all know and love from Foor and also a pretty good storyline once the characters began to open up. If you are looking for a book about two lonely strangers trying to escape their pasts, then look no further than Frigid Affair.

Hmmmmm…..this is a hard one. Although this book is great and wonderful it’s just not my fav Jenn4 book. With that being said, it’s not bad at all….I just didn’t get the normal feels from this book like I have in her others.

Amantha was sociable & outgoing. She used to like dressing up for parties. However, since her parents died in a terrible accident, all that has changed. She moved to Alaska of all places!!! Completely changed herself and is living a solitary life, until…….

She meets Easton. They are forced to spend one night together and it is HOT. Like HOT HOT HOT!!!!! He leaves the next day but he comes knocking on her door two years later, changing everything!

It wouldn’t be a Jenn4 book without a few major twist and turns. Some of them shocking. Easton manages to change her life in more ways than one.

I can’t do long reviews for Jenn4 books because of the twist. Can’t have any spoilers. I will say that even though this may not be my favorite book of hers……it’s still AMAZING!!!!!!

Highly Recommend!!

This is my first Jennifer Foor book. I've heard about her from avid fans (those seem to be the only kind she has) and thought I'd give her a go. I was not disappointed.

Frigid Affair was a fun read that had enough sweet & sexy, mystery, and personal challenges to keep me thoroughly engaged. Plus, the heat level was WOWZA.

Told in a single POV by our leading lady, Amantha (no, not Samantha, she's unique), Frigid Affair is an emotional tale of a young woman's journey out of a self-imposed exile into something completely different. She meets a man in a most unromantic way, yet they spend one HELL of a night together. Then POOF! He's gone as promised.

The fireworks don't end after that night. In fact, they are something to behold when he comes back after a looooong time away. The bombs dropped by both parties are nearly nuclear and one threatens to force Amantha to fall back into the dark hole she has finally pulled herself out of.

This was my First Jennifer Foor read and I really enjoyed it, while I do like the darker and grittier erotica I found this a brilliant and beautiful change from my normal read. This was a beautiful love story with some major bumps in road but left me all warm and fuzzy on the inside.

Amantha suffers a tragic loss in her life and decides to cut herself off from the world and move to a cabin in the woods in Alaska. After been rescued from a 'situation' by the ever so strong and ever so handsome stranger Easton, Amantha starts feeling things she never thought she'd feel thinking she'd never see him again they embark on a One night stand full of hot sex, that will certainly make you feel all hot and warm inside.

Both Amantha and Jensen have been rocked by personal tragedy and are trying to move on. They take a different path to their futures, Amantha moved to the only place she think of to run away from the world, while Jensen stays behind to face the music. For both of them, they must travel some rough road before their paths intersect. It is yet another form of tragedy that brings them together. Will the possibility of a future together be enough to make them take the biggest leap yet?

I was intrigued by this storyline but it was definitely a slow burn for me. The tragic circumstances made me feel for the characters but I actually didn't connect with them much at all until close to the end. This was a deeply complex storyline with each thread of their future woven intricately with their past, almost to its detriment. The story was packed with emotional gymnastics but the author sticks the landing, in the end.

Four Amazing Stars! Amantha experiences a tragic loss and moves to a cabin in the woods of Alaska. She gets herself in a situation where she needs rescuing and along comes Easton. Easton and Amantha have one night of passion that makes her start to feel things she has not felt in a while. Two years later she opens the door and finds Easton there and this changes everything. What reason will will Easton give for coming back to Amantha? I found the book to be well written and loved the characters. I have read a few books by this Author and will continue to look for more.

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. This book was read and reviewed by Annamaria for Alpha Book Club.

LEEANN'S REVIEW
3.5 STARS

This story brings a whole new meeting to second chances.

Amantha has found herself in a position where she is a single mum living on a mountain in Alaska with her baby. But it is how
her baby came about that is the story.
Jensen was married and his wife is responsible for tearing Amantha’s world apart.

When these two meet for the 1st time it is under false pretenses, but only one of them knows that. When the
mystery is uncovered, the truth comes out & the rebuilding and healing can start.

What begins is a journey towards the unknown, its is a journey about forgivness, not just of each other, but of themselves.
They learn the only way to have any kind of future is to completely let go of the past and move forward. They have many hurdles to
Jump but they realise together they can do it.

If you like drama filled stories about forgivness, redemption & second chance love you will enjoy this.

This book was a little different from Jennifers's others but still gave you the love story you crave from her.

I fell in love with Amantha's character. She use to be an outgoing, social person who liked to party and dress up. After a horrible train accident that caused the loss of her entire family she is now trying to hide herself away from those who pity her and the consistent questions shes been getting. until Easton arrives

One night, One steamy night they are forced to spend together. When Easton up and leaves the next day but has forever left an impression on her. Jump forward 2 years and hes is back at her doorstep making a declaration that shocks her.

Once again Jennifer gives you a story full of twists and turns. Both Amantha and Easton are dealing with loss. This book will leave you blown away when everything comes to light. This is yet another Jennifer Foor book you do not want to miss.

I received a complimentary copy of Frigid Affair in exchange for an honest review.

This was the first book I've read from Jennifer Foor and while I loved the premise of the story, I did feel like the story was rushed. I’d like to have seen Jennifer give us more time to fall in love with her characters by giving us more details – sadly I just did not connect with them.

Amantha suffered a HUGE loss and chose to move away from the grief – she lives off the land in the mountains of Alaska in a small cabin she had built. Jensen literally swoops into her life – and their Frigid Affair begins. Unfortunately, this is also when I began noticing the timeline was inconsistent.

I would be open to read from Jennifer again, as I mentioned prior, I really did enjoy the premise of this story.

I'm not sure what I expected when I chose this book to read, but what I got was so much better than expected. I truly enjoyed this book from beginning to end.

It was hard not to like Amantha. My heart just went out to her. She had to endure a tragic loss no one should have ever have to go through. I can't blame her for fleeing to Alaska to get away from it all. She's an amazingly strong woman. She took everything in stride, never really feeling sorry for herself. She just pulled herself up and kept going. I loved that about her.

Easton was perfect, at first, then I hated him, then I liked him again. I can't tell you too much about him without giving away pretty important parts of the plot. Just know that this story of love and loss is very worth every minute you will spend enjoying it.

Amantha is living in the wilderness of Alaska as a way of staying away from everything and everyone, including her tragic past. That all changes in one night. A man shows up to help Amantha just when she needs someone the most. That meeting will change the course of her life forever.

For some reason, I had a hard time connecting with these characters. I was given every reason to feel something for them, however there was something missing. I felt like the storyline was predictable and rushed at times, and there were a few inconsistencies throughout the book. I loved the premise of the story and found the idea of “living off the land” as Amantha did quite interesting.

I give Frigid Affair 2.5 stars.

The backdrop to this story really grabbed me - Amantha is a woman cutting ties with 'normal' life, giving up what an urban lifestyle has to offer, and going off the grid to live close to nature in the wilds of Alaska. Throw in a mysterious stranger who is forced to spend the night in her snowy cabin, and a fabulous story is set to unfold.

Amantha has struggled to overcome a past trauma, and she didn't seem capable of great emotion. Perhaps this is why the connection between her and her man seemed a little awkward, and I craved a more exciting sense of chemistry between them.

I can't give spoilers, but there were a couple of interesting mysteries that unfolded, and a secret to be revealed. I liked it, loved the setting, and enjoyed the twists - definitely a good read.

I received this as an ARC. I have read books by Jennifer Foor and LOVED them!!

Frigid Affair has a slow start, it does come to the point where you start to connect with the characters. It's a story about love and loss. Two people who share a painful past.

If you love a story about two people with masked pain and a past that haunts, Frigid Affair is for you.

Totally Un-Frigid!!!

Wow Jenn4 you have out done yourself with this one! I fell in love with both characters. Amantha with all she went through when her entire family was killed yet surviving and pushing on. Jenson/Easton...I wasn't prepared to learn he was Alice's husband, but did it make it so much better! Thank You for another awesome story to read!
