Message from Author: Hi Readers! if you find that you like the description and it's noteworthy of your time I promise you will not be disappointed with this love story! So go ahead and grab your book and read away! I have targeted this for those who are like me and adore cute romance stories and films with interesting plots which have characters that come to life. If you are like me, I already know you will love this book. There is never anything better than two people that have a great chemistry who go through an adventure and the climax of the story peaks with a happy ending! And this book is no different, or is it? I hope the book fills you with love and happiness. Oh and this is a standalone. Richard, a self-made man of the late 1800s west, has ordered a bride through a service. Deliberately choosing the ugliest of the photos the agency provided, he has no use for women in the romantic sense, having watched his own father fall apart after his wife left. He is surprised to be met at the station by a beautiful young Laura with sparkling blue eyes and black hair.
Laura Wilks is instantly captivated by the dark haired, dark eyed man who picked her up from the station. Expecting at least a short courtship, she is disappointed when he immediately packs her to the nearest courthouse to be married. However, she remembers that he believes her to be from a wealthy family, not the daughter of a housekeeper that she actually is. While she is ashamed she never corrected his misconception, an immediate marriage would prevent him from sending her back to Philadelphia.
She is devastated to hear that he has no interest in being romantically involved, though he had alluded to as much in his letters. He tells her that she will be for keeping his house and entertaining business partners as the need arises. Unable to imagine an entire lifetime without love, Laura decides she will set out to woo her own husband by being the very best wife possible.
Will Laura be able to coax love from her reluctant husband by applying all her wifely abilities? Or will she forever be trapped in a loveless marriage?
A story of hope, drama, suspense and unconditional love...

Lovely story

This is a cute little romance. I was sorry there was no epilogue to tell hope their future turned out once they fell in love.

Cute

This was a short, sweet, and clean book and it has a very good storyline. It needed an epilogue though.
