What a wonderfully magical series! I picked up this collection of the first 3 because my youngest niece is learning to read with this series, and I wanted to be able to discuss them with her. But I think I might continue the series just for my own enjoyment. I know I would have been OBSESSED with these books as a kid. A little group of besties having adventures in NeverLand that don't involve Peter Pan or Captain Hook? Just fairies and flying and talking to animals and secret doorways and friendship. Love it!

If your kids enjoy the Peter Pan spin-off Tinkerbell films then this book will come as a delight for them. While I didn't love this version of Neverland, I will admit my girls were glued to the story. This is perfect for 2nd-3rd grade readers and had some great universal life lessons woven in.

I picked this up at a library book sale and only knew it had ties to Pixie Hollow. I finally cracked it open last month and it was such a nice surprise. The illustrations were gorgeous and it was so exciting to see the world of Tinkerbell expanded on a larger scale. The Never Girls Volume 1 features the first three books of a cute series who befriend fairies. Four girls magically end up on Neverland and meet the winged beauties of Pixie Hollow. My favorite story was the inaugural story establishing all the various characters and background. The next two books were about a pet cat with a penchant for fairies and accidentally closing the portal to get back home. I would love to continue the series with future volumes, but my library only has them in individual books. I don't mind and I'll always try to find ways back to Pixie Hollow no matter what.
