The Greatest Story Ever Told written at the literacy level of a tiny person.

Moral: Be a shepherd of Jesus.

Length: Comically short. You’ll be waiting for this version at Midnight Mass.

Favorite Line: “This is the donkey that Mary rode to Bethlehem.”

Overall Impression: “Clear, gentle reverence” is how this board book is described on its back cover and I agree. It’s not going to bring you to the Lord, but it might help the youngen stay quiet at Church. And if it doesn’t, at least the old lady next to you won’t roll her eyes as your child reads a secular Boynton book featuring Pookie.
