This book gave me a deeper insight as to how captain fantastic or as we all know him as “KEEENOO!”.I am not going to lie when I say this but I never really thought of Roy Maurice Keane to be the best player of the best squad of football players to ever exist, the 1999-2000s Manchester United squad. I learnt that he was the hardest working man on that team and he earned that captain armband he wore to all of those games he played. This man was dedicated to football like never before. Since he was a child the ball never left his feet, like Messi. When he slept the ball was there, like Messi. Now I’ve had a deeper look into who he really is, he is more than worthy of of being compared to Messi.
realy good insigght into Roys life from his youth. went into the indivdual lists of games at times which isnt what interest me that much because that is information you can get from the internet but still quite insightful inplaces. his comitment to the cause and hard work and no nonsense attitude really comes through in this book. its made me want to go abck to some of his older games i saw in the late 90s and early noughties again and review. amazing midfielder undoubtedly. incredibly fit and able to operate from box to box which is what any midfielder should be able to do.
