Shoujo standalones, especially short story collections, rarely deliver for me, though they are often just fine to read in between. This particular work by Andou is fairly average. The art is quite standard shoujo but very cute and well drawn. The main story occupies the first three chapters and revolves around Mimi, a buddy photography model, and the current star model, Ryoko. They are working together for an ad that has them play out a couple, and soon things become confusing as to what is real and what is pretend.

The rest consists of two additional short stories which, sadly, suffer from their length. As is often the case, things are entirely rushed and thus feel shallow and random. The art remains the strongest part throughout. The main story also feels pretty rushed, but it is much stronger than the rest. There's nothing offensively bad about these, and they're probably fine if you want some fluffy romance in between longer reads. This particular one won't remain on my shelf, but it was nice to see some of Andou's earlier works.

In Italien veröffentlicht man keine Shojo-Manga mehr, diejenige mit Schülern, Schulfesten, Erste Lieben, und so fort... Mein Comicbuchverkäufer sagt, dass sie zurzeit sehr unpopulär sind: Mädels mögen lieber Yaoi-Manga oder Manga, wo man jemanden tötet. So muss ich mich an die deutschen Manga widmen. Aber ich bin froh darüber.

Aus diesem Grund habe ich Mai Andō entdeckt. In Deutschland werden nämlich viele One-Shot veröffentlichen und ich mag sie: Das gibt mir die Möglichkeit, neue Autoren zu lesen.

Ich mag die Zeichnungen von Andō-Sensei. Die Geschichte sind gut, wenn man 30 Minuten verbringen will, um zu entspannen. Ich wird sie aber schon morgen vergessen. Die beste Geschichte des Bandes ist die Erste, weil sie länger und besser entwickelt ist als die andere.

Ich habe auch Mehr als ein Geheimnis gekauft und ich wird ihn jetzt lesen.

Ein recht süßer OneShot von Mai Ando.
Die Charaktere sind sehr niedlich, sowohl gezeichnet, als auch vom Charakter. Die Story ist jetzt nicht soo außergewöhnlich, aber ich fand's insgesamt trotzdem sehr schön.
Die weiteren Kapitel passen auch sehr gut dazu - vor allem die letzte greift die Hauptgeschichte nochmal auf - sehr witzig gelöst.
Wenn ihr auf einen einfachen, niedlichen Romance Manga List habt, dann greift gern zu.

Four star for the first one I really liked it, and it a had fun cute plot twist at the end that I really liked. Two stars for the second one it mad me mad, I hate play boys that are full on play boys that end up with the girl that they don’t deserve, it works very rarely and this did not work.
