*This book was provided by the publisher/author for an honest review.

I was so excited to read about Rowena and Caedmon's daughter! I was just dying for it so badly that I devoured the whole thing in two days.

Even though her story takes place after her parent's, Faedrah is a strong enough character to stand on her own. Faedrah has had a life of privilege, kept safe by her parents but trained to fight like her mother Rowena. Faedrah worries she'll never compare to her mother, be as strong or beautiful and she is desparate to prove herself, both to her family and her realm. It really endeared her character to me and made me truly root for her. And Rhys. Don't even get me started on Rhys. He's a painter and he's just absolutely perfect for Faedrah.

I loved the time travel element of the Golden Key Chronicles and was hoping AJ Neust would find a way to use the same trope in Legacy as well and I wasn't dissapointed.

I really don't want to spoil anything but if you're looking for a different kind of fantasy romance, one that includes a strong heroine and an hero with an artistic heart this is the series for you!

Love that all 4 novellas are in one book now! I fell in love with Nuest's Key Chronicles and absolutely adored the Key Legacy. You don't need to read the first set to understand the second, but I highly suggest doing so. This series follows the children of the couple from Chronicles. I'm not typically a big fan of fantasy, but this was a stellar blend of contemporary and fantasy romance. Full of steam, twists, and suspense, you shouldn't miss it. A great read.

This was an amazing book. It has everything in it mystery, romance, suspense and action. Plus it flows continuously through the whole book. Once you start you will get lost in this world. If you are looking for something different then look no further this is your next book. A must read in my opinion.

Book 1
A Furious Muse follows in the Golden Key Series, this one with Princess Faedrah. She is much like her mother, in her sass and quick temper. Faedrah jumps to present day time where she meets Oliver, and Jon who have been waiting some time for her to appear. She also meets Rhys. The tempermental sexy artist who has seen her in his mind ever since he can remember. Having to decide to go with her heart and love him, or run away and find how he is connected to her nightmare visions. This was so much fun meeting the King and Queen's daughter. I found myself laughing at how much she reminded me of Rowena. 4.5/5

Book 2
UGH! This book ends in a horrible cliffy! I so didn't see that coming. Ryhs and Faedrah find themselves in mystery, intrigue, humor and of course some sexy romance. I can't even begin to tell yo how much I love her! Rhys, best not be breaking her heart, as she will want to kill him herself.
I have never been so glad to be behind on a series so I could immediately go and open the next installment in this series.

Book 3
It's Rhys's turn to now travel back in time to Faedrah's homeland. All I can say about this is The title threw me off a bit. Knowing the evil they must face, made me assume it was an evil wizard. I can't say too much without giving hints away. Just know this has every bit of intrigue, wit, and face pace as the ones previous to it. Love!!! 5/5
Book 4

Oh the sadness of this being the final installment in this series... Take a moment and just reflect the wild ride it has taken us on. I love that even using all the time travel back and forth between the mirror, it still made sense. That made it all more 'real' to me. Again, no spoilers this girl, just know if you thought the evil wizard was bad in The Golden Key Chronicles... you haven't seen nothing yet! kudos on another great read! I do hope we will see some of these characters again in a future series. 5/5 Cross posting to My Reading Reality .

Faedrah Austiere is the princess of the Austiere kingdom. She is only the second female to train as an elite guard. Lately She has been having nightmares. When she finds out it's her parents old enemy the Black Wizard, she is determined to go into the future to destroy him. Rhys McEleod is an artist in present day Chicago. For the past 20 years he has been painting the same beautiful face that has been haunting his dreams. When he walks into his manager's asu studio, he can't believe his eyes when she's standing in front of him...until she attacks him.

I really liked this book. I loved how the author was able to infuse Faedrah into Rhys’s world and then when Rhys had to go to hers. It was done very well. The book moved very fast and yet for some reason it did take me a bit to finish. I almost think it would've been better in the separate parts the way the author intended, which normally gets on my nerves. I really loved Rhys and Faedrah and highly recommend.

The Golden Key Legacy is a fantastic adventure. The reader is transported into another time and place where the fate of the world is decided by hearts of valor and magic...where evil is real, honor is everything, and true love makes anything possible. If that's not enough to make you want to travel through time, wait until you meet Rhy, the hot, hot hero of this series! Once I started reading, I couldn't stop! You won't either!

Great second book

This was a great follow up to the first book. The story continued in the future about 20 years after. The story is about the daughter seeking out her adventure and saving the kingdom. Not as much action as the first but still couldn't put it down.

A Furious Muse
I knew the story wasn’t quite finished at the end of the Golden Key. And now Faedrah, daughter of Rowena and Caedmon, just might be the one to tie off those loose ends. This time Faedrah has to come forward in time to find the allies she needs. We get to revisit several favorite characters while we get to know this new generation. The stinger this instalment ends on makes me very interested to see where the rest of the story is going to take us.
The Sacrifice
Umm… Wow?! There’s so much happening here and so many secrets to be uncovered. I’m having great difficulty finding the right words to explain just how good this is. There are twists and turns that feel like they come out of nowhere leaving this reader reeling with shock. I was prepared to be surprised by what Faedrah was facing, but I never expected this. I need to know how they escape this complication.
A Wizard Rises
Maybe it’s just the series itself, because once again I’m left speechless about just how much I was mesmerized by this book. Faedrah and Rhys have returned to her time in an effort to stop the blight. Being in Austiere unleashes new complications the pair weren’t expecting along with all the ones they thought they were prepared for. This story gets more complex and compelling with every page and I’m desperate to find out how it all comes together.
A Time of Reckoning
But have we reached the end? Really? We’ve come full circle, and after a whole bunch of twists and turns Faedrah and Rhys have achieved nearly everything their hearts desire. Yet there are still a few threads spinning out into the mists of time that are in need of resolution. I hope one day we’ll learn the rest of the story.

Insta-lust.
Gorgeous young nubile VIRGIN out of her depth.
Middle aged man who will save her and who wants to be the only man she's ever had sex with.
Parents keeping secrets that virgin really should know.

This was just horrible. I quit reading during the deflowering scene while she was being taken to such heights of pleasure. GAG. We know why he wants her but WTF does she want with him? And doesn't she have a big dangerous problem to solve?

The Golden Key Legacy is an action filled urban fiction story which takes place in two different time periods. I had a bit of trouble with the heroine's pattern of speech in the beginning but quickly caught up and was able to follow the story.

Sequel is so good

Loads of action, drama and humor. Wording is obvious from the way Faedrah speaks to the modern way Rhys McEleod speaks. One is from the future the other isn’t. Crossing the veil is the only way Princess Faedrah Isador Austiere can save her kingdom. Trained since she was young to be a part of the royal guard as well as being the next ruling queen, Faedrah didn’t expect to be an artist’s muse. Falling in love wasn’t in the cards either. But she was entranced with paintings of her, Faedrah knew he was her heart. Same for Rhys. One look and his heart belonged to her. Only he didn’t just create magic with his art, he was able to create kinetic magic with other resources. However as these two attempt to solve the problem of the Black Infestation in Faedrah’s kingdom, there arises another problem with Rhys’s dad, Leo. Leo isn’t what he appears to be. Very intriguing with a HEA.

Great

Great 2nd book in the series. Both were fascinating. Each ended without a cliff hanger which was great, but also with a way to continue the series.
