And I have hit the jackpot again. While this is a seasoned author, she is brand spanking new to me and definitely someone I have pinged to watch in the future. I loved every piece of this book and I cannot wait for more soon. This author grabbed me from the beginning and I did not put this book down until it was finished... and then I was still trying to flip the pages long after it was over.
This book was amazing. It was sexy, sweet, suspenseful, fun, intense, and crazy hot. This book will have you smiling one minute then getting all hot and bothered the next. This book is definitely not a standalone. There is not a relationship cliffhanger but there is a storyline one that keeps us guessing and I am hoping the next book releases soon. I need more Brielle and Hudson in my life!
This is Brielle and Hudson's story. Brielle is a good girl trying to break out of her shell. She has wants and desires her long term boyfriend is not fulfilling. So when she breaks her shell to get a tattoo, she has no idea that the artist is going to shake up her entire world. He is the man she has been wanting but with his hang ups, she is cautious. But Hudson has other ideas for sweet and dirty Brielle.
Enter Hudson. Sexy. Sweet. Alpha. Dominant. He is a man who knows what he wants. He doesn't do relationships anymore after being burned in the past. He likes to catch, play then let loose. But Brielle is different. He is drawn to her like never before. So when he sees her again and rescues her, he knows he'd do anything. And when he finds out her fantasies, well that just makes it even better.
These two.... yowza hot! I loved their chemistry... the flirtations... the light and fun banter... the passion sizzling between them. I was rooting for these two and still am. The suspense in this book was great. I have a few ideas about who our stalker is but my lips are sealed until the next book. I also hope there are future books in this series with some of these sexy guys and gals we met.

Audiobook Review
It really pains me to leave a 2 star review, as I rarely do it, but unfortunately this audiobook was not for me. I recently signed up for a program to receive free audiobooks in exchange for unbiased reviews. Dirty Ink had received great reviews on Goodreads so I thought it was a slam dunk and had immediately requested it, but the book did not translate well into audio.
Dirty Ink is told in multiple POV's, male and female, yet the audio is done solely by a female narrator, Melissa Barr. I am a huge proponent of using a female and male narrator when there are multiple POV's, and think it's worth every penny when putting together an audiobook. With that said, I actually preferred Barr's male narration over her female narration.
Barr's narration of the female lead was "overacted" to the extreme and came across as "ditzy" and immature. At times it was uncomfortable and cringe worthy to listen to. That leads to the question, is it the narrator or is it the material? In my opinion, there was no real story line. It's a story about a girl and a guy that meet, have a lot of generic sex, fall in love right away, and have some trouble from his ex girlfriend thrown in.
There is a warning that it contains BDSM and triggers, but it was nothing that was noticeable over audio. The male lead, Hudson, had alpha traits, but they are very typical for these types of books. There was nothing very unique or different about the story or character development. To top it all off, the book just ends without any ending. Some would say on a cliffhanger, other would just say it just ends without any ending. Will I read book 2? Probably not. I'm pretty sure I know how it will turn out.
Although it was not for me, I'm sure others may find enjoyment in it, especially those that like more sex than story.

Brielle has been living under the expectations of others for way to long. When she decides to break free of all of that along with that boyfriend, she ends up at Hudson's tattoo shop as the first step in her new life. There is some instant sizzling chemistry between them, but Hud has a iron clad rule about clients being off limits. When she leaves both have a hard time getting each other off their minds. Then they are brought back together again and everything changes. Bri wants to explore her naughty girl and Hud is all about taking her there. Holy hell...they are scorching hot together. I mean melt the paint of the walls and no amount of water will cool them down hot. I loved their story and can't wait for more.

This is the 3rd book by this author that I have read and have thoroughly enjoyed them all. Brielle doesn't want to be a good girl any more,so she has decided at the age of 25 years old to get a tattoo, but while at the shop she gets broken up with. All she wants to to figure out who she really is . But then there is Hudson Knox who is the tattoo artist who's very serious about his business, he's so serious about his job that he's building his own shop, and he's trying to build a good reputation with his clients which is everything for him. But at the same time he has one rule ,no dating the clients. Brielle just couldn't resist flirting with the hot and sexy Hudson, who has the most sexiest mouth that would make any woman want to remove their panties for him. Don't think Hudson didn't notice how sexy her body was because he did ,but he also remembered his one rule of no dating the clients. But soon life brings them together, but their chemistry is way to hot to resist and for him the rule goes out the window. Author K. Renee writes one great steamy sexiest love story ,that grabs you and pulls you in from start to finish ,that will make you want more. I could go on and tell you more about this great story but that would spoil the story for you. I highly recommend that you read this great story, because you won't be disappointed.

Brielle Tyler is bored with her life and especially bored with her boyfriend of five years. Seth doesn’t make her feel sexy or even loved for that matter. Contemplating why she’s even with him is a daily occurrence. Too bad he turns out to be a jerk by the time he’s done with her tattoo, oh well he could have been fun.
Hudson Knox is the owner and operator of Dirty Ink tattoo shop. He long ago decided after a terrible experience that messing around with his clients was a big mistake. He’s been steadfast at keeping to that promise to himself until a dark haired sexy as sin girl walks into his shop for her first tattoo. An uncomfortable sense of possessiveness takes over Hudson the minute his needle hits her smooth and creamy skin. He shakes off the urge to take her make her his opting to be a jerk and push her away.
Fate had other ideas, when a mutual friend unknowingly sets them up on a blind date they both realize quickly their attraction is too strong to resist.
Brielle is a tough girl who has been through a lot but has still allowed people, like her now ex-boyfriend to drag her down make her feel unworthy of love. When she finally decides to make major changes in her life is when she blossoms. Meeting Hudson is a whirlwind of fun, crazy sex and emotions she never thought she could feel for a man. Hudson wants to claim her bring her into his world. She is intrigued and wonders if her fantasies that she has never shared with anyone can be fulfilled by this tattooed beautiful man.
Hudson is just plain hot. His BDSM lifestyle was a surprise to me as it was to Brielle. He pegs her as a submissive from the start. He slowly brings BDSM into their sex life, K. did a great job of incorporating BDSM into this story tastefully. Their love grows quickly and Hudson comes to know he would do anything to protect this girl. When danger lurks around every corner he can’t help be fear for Brielle’s safety.
I always enjoy K. Renee’s stories. Hudson and Brielle are a smoking hot couple, their relationship does move fast but that’s ok sometimes that works and it does for this story. The side characters like Brielle’s best friend Reilly were really great to read. I was very curious about Reilly and Ethan’s relationship which is only hinted at being a D/s relationship I wonder if we will get a book for them. There is an element of suspense I did not expect as well, someone is watching Brielle and Hudson. Who could it be? Is it someone after Brielle or after Hudson? His ex or her ex? Lots of possibilities which makes the reader want more.

I was really looking forward to reading this series. As little as I'll usually admit, I do like reading BDSM.
The story is about Brielle, a likable, down to earth student who works part time in a restaurant/bar. Her current boyfriend is boring, distanced and not at all interested in any of Brielle's sexual fantasies. He ends their relationship over text after walking in on her masturbating. Determined to start a new, confident life that she's always wanted, Brielle decides to break her tattoo virginity and get inked. Enter Hudson, the gruff, talented artist whose shop she walks into to get her work done.
Hudson has a 'no sex with clients' rule after being hurt in the past but when he bumps into Brielle again, he can't resist taking her home and hearing out her fantasies before letting her in on his own. Told through both POVs the story is interesting to read and tough to put down.
This is a really interesting story, both characters are very likable and throughout the book I was hoping that everything was going to turn out well for them. I found Brielle's best friend Riley a little annoying, but she seemed to be the tension breaker throughout the book.
This book isn't quite BDSM yet, it's more the story of Hudson gradually falling for Brielle and preparing her for his BDSM fetishes.
My only complaint about this book is that there are so many typo mistakes. I found myself having to work out what one word meant as it was obviously the wrong one and had just been automatically corrected.
I'm getting started on the next book straight away!! There are so many unanswered questions!!!

Ok I'm going to be completely honest here and say I have been sitting here on my review for the past week. I want to say that I'm a fan of the authors, and love her Wayward Saint's series and her stand alone Lyndley. So to say the least I really wanted to read this book. The synopsis sounded really good.
But unfortunately for me this book was kind of a miss for me. I'm not sure what it was but something about it just kind of bugged me. I'm not sure if it was the insta-love connection they evidently have or what. I just kind of found their connection unbelievable, for me anyways.
I will say that I really liked Hudson. I thought he was sweet, kind, caring, protective and sexy.
I want to say I liked Brielle, I really do. But I just don't know. She kind of got on my nerves. I just couldn't connect with her character at all.
I really wanted to enjoy this book and did find parts of it enjoyable. There's parts of it that will keep you guessing. I will warn you that this does end with a cliffhanger. Which I didn't realize going into it.

This is the first book in the Dirty Love series. Brielle is 25 years old and in her last year of college. She's unhappy with her boyfriend cause she wants to try new things in the bedroom and he won't. He walks into her bedroom and sees her masterbating and is shocked and disgusted. He later breaks up with her via a text message (pussy). She realizes she is better off without him and his close minded ness. She decides to get a tattoo so her best friend, Riley sends her to Dirty Ink. Hudson owns Dirty Ink and he's also a Dominant he has one rule he never dates anyone he tattoos. Not since his ex girlfriend/submissive/fiancée cheated on him and broke his heart. Hudson is friends with Riley they both frequent the same BDSM club and Riley is hooking up with one of his friends. Riley takes Brielle to the private BDSM club because she's newly single and curious about the lifestyle. Hudson sees Brielle talking to a very strict Dom so he says she's with him. He goes against his own rule and takes her home to his house. After finding out she's new to the lifestyle he tells her he's going to slowly introduce her to BDSM.

4 Solid Stars and a great start to this new series!
Loved Hudson and Brielle and I am dying for the next book because there is a fantasy of Brielle's that Hudson is going to live out with her and OMG.....I am DYING to read it, lololol:) HOT stuff for sure!
This is not a standalone and as disappointed as I was, I am looking forward to the next book. Great cast of characters and great storyline too. K. Renee has so much potential but I do personally feel she could use some quality beta readers to give her that push as well. She has such great and endless potential and I just would like more "growth" and/or maturity to her characters because the storyline is there, it just needs just a tad bit of tweaking on character development, editing and some quality beta feedback! This book is so much more than sex though, it's got mystery, drama and just the right amount of angst too!!!!!
Looking forward to book #2!!!!!!!!

First off, I adore this Author. Excellent writing with yummy characters and a great storyline.
What do you do when you have a plain boyfriend and you want so much more in the bedroom? What do you do when you get dumped via text message bc you are too much for him to handle? Change your life of course and then start living it.
Brielle( I adore that name) does just that. She starts her changes with a tat and it all unfolds from there. She is curious about the BDSM lifestyle and really wants to explore but has no knowledge of how to do so.
Hudson is a tat artist and is the lucky one that she gets. His work is true art and he loves it. His past dealt him a major blow so he swears off clients for relationships.
How can he resist her and all her innocence?
This book was simple delicious. Every chapter drew me in and left me wanting more of each characters.
I am counting the days until the second book is available.

What a fantastic read this was! Hot, sensual and so, so enjoyable.
Hudson is owner and tattoo artist at Dirty Ink, with one rule: don't sleep with his customers, but when Brielle enters his life and astounds him with her honesty, he finds that rules are meant to be broken.
Called dirty and perverted by her boyfriend for wanting more than just vanilla, Brielle decides to stop being what others expect her to be and end up at Hudson's studio. Hudson see the potential in her for a Dom-Sub relationship with the way that Brielle's mind works.
But with Hudson's ex out to get him back, and someone set on destroying Brielle's reputation, there are more than a few bumps in the road for these two.
Whilst this was hot and sensual, it was also full of angst and tension as they try and find their way through the walls others have put in their way. This was a quick paced read that had me and kept me hooked throughout.

Whilst this was hot and sensual, it was also full of angst and tension as they try and find their way through the walls others have put in their way. This was a quick paced read that had me and kept me hooked throughout.

Brielle is dumped by text by her very straight laced long term boyfriend. Right then and there she decides to do something out of character. She goes and gets a tattoo, this is where she meets Hudson, sexy bad boy tattoo artist (the complete opposite to the kind of guy that she usually goes for). Sadly, Hudson never dates his clients, it's his one rule! Fates steps in, in the guise of Brielle's best friend Ryley, who, as it happens knows Hudson. They meet up again a week or so later and 'bang' literally, herein starts a very explosive relationship. Hudson is definitely not boring and straight laced in the bedroom. I found Brielle's to be a bit annoying and whiney, Hudson however is super hot. Not a bad story, just a bit too predictable in places.

I’m a huge fan of the Author and I’m absolutely loving this new series. The book had me at page one and I could not put it down. Hudson and Brielle and Ethan and Riley the fun is just beginning and I seriously can’t wait for book 2! Bring on more BDSM training because the pages were spanking hot, and I’m sure we’re going to get burned in Book 2!

Wow this book had a lot that I love in it. It was raw and gritty when it came to the passion between Brielle and Hudson. Those two have such a smoking chemistry it just screams off the page. When these two are together, it is not disappointing! I love the mystery aspect to this book too. There is a lot of intriguing moments where you want to scream because you want to know what is going on!
I found this book flowed amazingly well to the point of when I got to the end, I was disappointed because I really wanted it to continue!! Now I wait! HEHE! Bravo K. Renee on a well done book! If you like some kink with a hot tattoo artist and a sassy heroine.... then I highly suggest this book to you! I loved it!

I absolutely love Brielle and Hudsons story! Brielle is working to pay for college, but her job kind of sucks because of the guys who get a bit handsy! When her boyfriend of 5 years breaks up with her it's really no heart ache because she can finally live and be herself! But one trip to a tattoo parlor changes everything for her and more then she will ever know!

Wow that's what my first thought is.
From the start, Brelle had me intrigued.
This is no classic love story..If This is want you want.
It's sexy raw and arousing in all aspects.
An innocent women, whom is sick of the Vanilla sex and a bland lifestyle makes an epic change.
Brelle has decided to open herself up to the dark sexual fantasies she has and sexy Tattoo artist Hudson is just the man to do this. Only that it has developed into more then playtime and someone doesn't like the budding romance..
I like how the "villain" could be many people it doesn't pull you into one particular direction.
Well written, the pace was perfect for a BDSM virgin so to speak.
I'm looking forward to finding out who is behind all the nefarious activity.

I won an arc from Addicted to Reviews blog facebook page. I must say this is a very hot and steamy book. Brielle goes to get a tattoo and ends up getting broken up with while she is there. This was her new beginning and boy does she start it off with a bang. Hudson is her sexy tattoo artist. They can see there is an attraction between them but his rule keeps them from anything more than her being his client. Later that week her friend Riley drags her out to go have fun and the true fun actually begins. There are definitely some interesting twists in this story and I can't wait to read the next book.

Received a copy for an honest review. K Renee set the pages on fire with Brielle and Hudson. Brielle is ready to be more free, make some changes and enjoy her life. Hudson has one rule and damn he doesn't want to break it, but there is only so much he can take. The thing is Brielle has inked herself in his mind. Brielle is tough, strong and ready for new adventures. She needs a man that can help her fulfill her fantasies. Hudson is hot as hell and sexy as sin (enough said) alpha! alpha! alpha!. There is a little twist of danger in the dark. Can Hudson be the man for Brielle? I can't wait to see what happens next.

I loved this book so much!! Brielle and Hudson are great characters. They meet accidentally when Brielle gets dumped by her ex. She goes to get a tattoo and Hudson is the tattoo artist. Their first meeting ends badly but fate throws them back together again. They definitely have a lot of obstacles throughout their relationship but work on overcoming all of them. When I finished the book, I immediately wanted more! I can't wait for the next in this series.

Just finished reading Dirty Ink and loved it. However this book does end with a cliffhanger. Brielle meets Hudson when she decides to go get a tattoo. While she is at the tattoo shop her boyfriend breaks up with her by text. Hudson likes Brielle but has a rule not to date his clients until a chance meeting brings them together a week later.
This book is fast paced and full of suspense...which is killing me since I still have no idea who is causing all the trouble. Can't wait to read book 2!!
