This box set includes the first and second books of the four book series Assassin's Revenge by Tara Crescent. I read each of these books when they first came out and decided to read them again for a book challenge on Goodreads. If you like a suspenseful erotic read then this series is the one for you. I would advise you to pay close attention to this story as it begins to unfold because the H and h go by different names and if you aren't paying enough attention you will think there are more players in the story then really are.

This is a 2-book collection. The first book seems to be shorter than the 2nd. There is a lot of secrecy and lies. Honestly I think the characters will have a hard time getting past that if there’s ever a chance of a relationship in the future. Ellie was kidnapped, treated like a slave, and then escaped. She’s been taking out those who are in alignment with her previous master. Her main target is Dylan. Alexander looks like he’s part of the slave world, but he’s actually a good guy. Unfortunately he has to keep up pretenses.

book 1; I was given this free for my honest review, I love tara's books they never disappoint me, always filled with great plots and fantastic emotions the love scenes are great, this story just falls into you and keeps you captivated.
book 2 ; I was given this for my honest review, wow it picks up right where the first left us, then we are 2 yrs later and everything is explained about each character as we get to know them and what they think of each other, but as there are lots of twists and they don't tell each other their secrets you know the next one is going to be just as good, and oh will you need the next one quickly.
