Now I know more family

With each book the story expands and brings in more characters and more family. I'm looking forward to the next book.

#5 in a series about the Mayhem sisters Clover, Vivi and Honora, Witches in Wonderland also includes their aunts, Henrietta and Elsie, who are quite a pair!

This novel centered around Vivi, who owns and operates a spell shop in Everland and is trying to pursue her persuasion, which is her magical forte of sorts. She must pass the Seer's exam to become established, but even without her certification, she's rather a sleuth on the side. Owing to some mischief from a previous book (I'm guessing?), she is tasked by the Darklander with finding Devlin Strange, a warlock who's gone off the grid. She has a dream about the Red Queen, which helps her along, and her mission begins to involve politics across Everland! Plus, her assistant is brewing up a potion of her own that may help the investigation dramatically.

I haven't read any of the other books in the series, and I think I got along just fine. Seemed like maybe they could be standalone novels, but the reader will probably get more out of the characters reading them in sequence. Having read this one, though, I would read more in the series. Quick writes a nice plot, weaving in humor and clues and just enough drama to make for a fun read.

"Witches in Wonderland" is the fifth book in the "Sister Witches Mystery" series by Lauren Quick. This story is told from multiple perspectives. However, Vivi has the most chapters.
Having the gift of prophecy isn't always easy. In fact, for someone that has Vivi's level of skill, it can come at any time and in any way it seems fit. This time she's hit with a dream full of some obvious and some not so obvious meanings. At the same time, she receives a request from an old adversary to find a wizard by the name of Devlin Strange. Using the tools at hand, Vivi sets out on a quest to identify this mystery wizard, along with why so many different people are looking for him.
The Mayhem sisters have their work cut out for them as they juggle their personal lives, their goals, and this new mystery. They just hope they aren't going to find themselves neck deep into trouble, or it will be off with their heads if the Red Queen finds out what they are doing.
Overall, this was another great addition to the series. Some things were more obvious than others, at least to the reader, but all in all it was enjoyable to read.

This is the 5th book in the Mayhem Sisters series. Where previous stories focused more on one sister at a time, this book brings Viv, Honora and Clover all together and we finally get to know more about their parents and family. This story started slowly, and seemed disconnected at first. Opening sequences included a drawn out dream obviously relying upon Alice in Wonderland, but difficult to follow. As the story progressed however, the plot became clearer and then it was hard to put down! I hope we soon have more Mayhem Sister adventures to follow.

The Mayhem sisters are in for a ride, with evil lurking and secrets revealed. A fun ride through Everland as Vivi finally accepts what she wants to do in life. The story starts slow but then picks up a steady pace.

A fast and fun read about a group of sisters who also just so happen to be witches. The stories are fast paced but well written; I read the entire series in just a few days because I just couldn't get enough.
