This is the second in the series of Karen Perry-Mondori. As good as the first.

Back Cover Blurb:
Ignoring warnings from her colleagues, Karen Perry-Mondori decides to defend alleged Mafia underboss Angelo Uccelio against all odds. As the case proceeds threatening events begin to take place in her professional and private life that could jeopardise her professional standing....not to mention her own safety. But Karen refuses to be beaten, and as she examines all the evidence she eventually stumbles across far more than she ever bargained for. A compelling tale of long-concealed secrets, political ambitions and personal animosities.
