Kirkus' Review The author, known for cooking with an international flavor, extends her expertise to touring Europe. Her guide is accomplished, pragmatic, without frills. She discusses the nature of travel (educational, informative, enlightening), how to get to Europe, what to take, making arrangements, necessary documents, etc. In the various countries, she describes national characteristics, customs and immigration requirements, when to visit and how long to allow. In cities she tells of accommodations and entertainments and then on to the touring with mileage between stops noted. No particular bouquet here, but the directions are sound.
Basically does not exist anymore, in print or online. Read write-ups on Europe that I could find online, and skimmed a good portion of MW's guide to South America on June 6, 2021 for Rory. Imagine an acerbic, occasionally culturally insensitive, but generally detailed travel guide written by Trudy Campbell off of Mad Men, and this is what you'd get.
