Found on pages 173-174: The "Man from Northamptonshire's" words are the reason I remember this book. Reading this specific passage helped me deal with the grief I felt from the death of our dear friend "Buster". Now our family shares our hearts and home with "Chance" and "Charley" who were rescued from shelters not long after I read this book...and this passage.

I just reread this excellent and helpful book for the third time, for the loss of a third extra special cat. Through many tears, it is comforting and cathartic.
