The cover is just dreadful and will probably scare people away from buying this book. It almost did for me, and I already knew I like Morgan Hawke's writing.

I really enjoy Hawke's snarky sense of humor and the vague sense of non-con (since it's a book, it's safe to enjoy what in real life would be ick. The amount of time spent on world-building was a bit puzzling in light of how long the story was. The story just got to the good part, then it was "good-bye, we're done". Slow to start and too quick to finish.

Aftertaste: smirk.

This short book has an unusual sci-fi backstory and quirky characters. It's very different, has some sexy bits and is a quick read.

The short story was good with a sci-fi background that was interesting and it had some nifty chase/escape scenes.

Can't say I am a fan of the cover. At all.

Overall a fun read. Has a good buildup but fell a bit short as far as story goes. Similar to her other yaoi type of fare.

Good

This was quite short. Not as interesting or exciting as I thought it would be. The technology used in the book was awesome.

This is a surprisingly good book. The characters are well developed for its length, and the world is well built (once again, for its length). I would really like to see the story expanded, it felt incomplete to me, but I really enjoyed it.

As others have pointed out, this book has one of the worst covers ever. If you can get past the cover, the story is definitely worth it.

Very interesting my fav character had to be boots the smart ass robot cat. Rory is just to smart for his own good and I loved that he was able to out smart all the security in his building and when he made the floor give out in the elevator and the security fell I laughed I was not expecting that, what I really hated was the beard I hate men with beards.

Best of the series

Professional writing mechanics, appealing characters, interesting plot. Unlike the others this one has protagonists who come across as equals. No one embraces humiliation and being dominated in exchange for great orgasms. The human MC fights for his autonomy and freedom.

I loved this little short about a nerdy tech ruler and his top security man. We have the brat and the tamer here and boy did he do some taming. Okay, taming, spanking, same dif. Hot!

Dub-con, Non-con, not in a sexy way IMO. Didn't enjoy it.
