Interesting collection of africa-related fiction and non-fiction from the scifi award winner. Includes responses to criticisms of his Africa related stories, especially the famously award winning Kirinyaga stories, and self-examination of his writing process. Enjoyable and a fascinating look inside the mind and world of a writer whose work reaches beyond the ordinary.
This somewhat-obscure Resnick collection is a good one. It includes two of his Kirinyaga stories, has a cool Emsh cover, features "Bully," which is an excellent novella, and is rounded out by several interesting shorter pieces. Resnick is always entertaining, and this is first-rate fare.
