It's a book about taxes, so it's not that fabulous. However, it was clearly-written and helpful.

I have only read two books on small business/home business & this is one of them. The difference between the two is like night & day. The other was a Dummies book that left me feeling scared & stupid. It felt like the authors were trying to convince the reader not to have their own business. This book on the other hand instills confidence. Rather than remind one of all the nasty bits it tells you & encourages you to hold on to what you earn - legally & without making it feel impossible or scary.
Well written & laid out in a manner that is easy to understand. This one is a keeper! If you are running your own home business or even if you are thinking about it, this book is worth adding to your library. Filled with useful no nonsense tips & advice to make the small business owner confident come tax time.

If you treat your writing as a business (which you should) then this book is an absolute must read. I have learned a great deal from this one book. Taxes are not the easiest thing to understand and I did have to read a couple of sections very carefully before I understood what they were talking about. This is not the kind of book you want to just breeze through. Read it for comprehension and you won't regret it.

What an awesome book on taxes - said no one ever. But if you have to read one for smal;l businesses, this is a solid one. It gives you plenty of info to fill out your tax return and prepare for next year so you can maximize your deductions.
The only thing I don't understand is that this book contains almost the same info as Deduct it! from the same author. Why make two books with almost identical text? Hence four instead of five stars.
