Early Reader
The Kratt Brothers, Martin and Chris love insects. Wild Insects and Spiders teaches parts of their body, how many generations they have survived and their predators. The book is shown in cartoon like animation. My eyes were mesmerized by the oversized insects and spiders. Details about the ants, Praying Mantis and the Golden Orb Spiders caught my interest. It was also about brotherly love and how they share they share a hubby.

For a early reader this book is the step under reading chapters. The print was large, each page displayed a fully written paragraph with deep content. It can also be use as an introduction to the Butterfly Cycle. I picked this book because of the family connection between brothers growing up I always wished I had a twin. Reading this helped me recap my understanding of insects and spiders.

Martin and Chris take us an adventure to teach us all about insects! From Honeybees to the Praying Mantis we learn lots of cool facts. Did you know Dragonflies can fly forward, backward, and even upside down?!! Super cool. I can use this in my future classroom to teach about insects and use it to make connections to Wild Kratts- which kids love!

Extraordinarily engaging and informative. Sadly, as short as this review.

Some missing infor and misinformation on the illustrators part when it comes to spiders. But all in all, it is a good book
