What comes next after cars? "BOATS!" - every 90's kid in Sweden yell, who has been memorising the exact order of the Mulle Meck-games on PC.

This is one of my favourites. Not only because I played the PC-game as a child until the game crashed from too much "molijoxer", but also because I have a soft spot for boats and the sea.

I didn't talk about this in the previous book, but one thing I really like about these books (and this character as a whole) is the fact that he may be smart and handy, but he's not perfect, and he always forgets something big by the end of the books. As a child I remember feeling incredibly clever when I could figure out the problem a page or so before Mulle himself did, without it ever getting too tedious. It was very satisfying and by the end of the book it almost felt like you had helped him in some way.

As always; colourful illustrations, instructions on how to build a boat that are easy to understand even for kids and overall a very enjoyable book. I love them!
