ACCESS Paris is arranged by neighborhood so you can see at a glance where you are and what is around you. The text is color-coded according to the kind of place described--blue for hotels, green for shops, black for sights and culuture, and red for restaurants and clubs. Follow the well-charted trail; it's all you'll need on your visit to the "City of Lights."
I had a much earlier edition from a trip to Paris years ago, but I loved several things about this guidebook. First, I LOVED the graphics in the book since I am very visual. The descriptions and inclusions of all the popular spots plus some unique and unusual place sto visit kept the trip interesting.
The best feature of this book, though, is that it is designed by neighborhood, so you can easily see the highlights of what is right around you when you go to a specific area of Paris.
A terrific and useful guide, particularly good for exploring neighborhoods, but hard to avoid out-of-date glitches, I guess. We really wanted to check out the "Maison de Vanille," but there is now a macrobiotic restaurant in its place.
