The city of Pittsburgh keeps its streets safe, partly thanks to Lt. Grady Rivers. The police officer is fiercely intelligent who specializes in undercover operations. It is this set of skills that are sought by New York’s finest. Grady is thrown from his hometown onto the New York City underworld in order to stop one of the largest drug rings in the northeast. The NYPD task him with uncovering the identity of the organization’s mysterious leader, Dean. It will take all of his cunning to stop this deadly drug lord.
Danger lurks around every corner and comes in many shapes. While undercover, he meets a beauty named Lara. An equally intelligent woman and twice as fearless, she works for a local drug dealer who has ties to the organization. Their sorted pasts have these two become close, and soon they develop feelings for one another. But this is not a “Romeo and Juliet” love story, as the star-crossed lovers fight to survive the deadly streets. Grady treads the thin line between the love he feels for her, and his duties as an officer.
Will he get in too deep?
Perfect for Me is book 1 of the Undercover Series. It will end on a cliff hanger
I was expecting something else of importance to happen. Or at least I was hoping that we would get more information about what is going on but apparently not
Perfect for Me is the first book in the Undercover Series. It's a suspense filled, gritty read.
Lt. Grady Rivers is used to keeping the streets of Pittsburgh safe. Specialising in undercover operations. When Lt. Rivers is drafted in to one of the most dangerous undercover operations of his life by the NYPD leaving behind the safety net of his beloved city he risks everything in bringing down the identity of one of the most notoriously and dangerous Drug Lord know only as Dean.
I enjoyed this book it had quite a mix of mystery, suspense, action, deceit and an unconventional love story with twist and turns you won't see coming. The plot line flowed, I personally felt it could have been a little bit more developed however that being said I still found myself eagerly turning the pages. I thought the character Lt. Grady Rivers had depth to him and was well developed but for me personally I just couldn't connect to Lara nor their relationship again I personally thought it was rushed and not developed enough for me to feel connected to the characters but I'm sure as the series is developed my opinion will change as I have said I did enjoy the book which would have been a 4 star read however, the story ends at 83% on a cliffhanger which the author does warn you. I didn't have an issue with this but unfortunately I'm knocking half a star off making it a 3.5 read as when a story ends at 80 plus percent and then the authors other works are advertised it's a deal breaker for me.
Would recommend to anyone who loves this genre.

Very good book!! Grady is a policeman from Pittsburgh that is helping the NY City PD by going undercover to find a big person in the city's drug world. There, he is attracted to Lana who seems to be more than it looks like at the beginning. Grady is the only person at this time that I am sure of. Everyone else, I am not so sure. This is as an interesting, well written book. Good job, Lexy Timms. This book does end with a big cliffhanger. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. I also loved the cover with the flow of the tattoos with both of them. I received this book from the author in return for an honest review.
I’m really not feeling this but for some reason. The characters don’t seem real. Everything seems too easy. The connection between Grady and Laura was too quick. They had a couple of pretty steamy scenes however I really felt no emotion from them.
The action scenes seemed fairly bland, no danger, no urgency, just were words on a page. I wanted to get wrapped up in this story but for some reason it didn’t connect with me.
Overall, the book felt average - really nothing more.
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Perfect For Me is the first book in The Undercover series. Intense, consuming, and ridiculously sexy, it is well-written, the characters are intriguing, and the story is captivating. Gripping from the start, Perfect For Me has a good mix of mystery, action, secrets, lies, deceit, suspense, and twists and turns you don't see coming. It's edgy and will have you hanging on the edge of your seat.
3.75* I received a copy of this book from Hurricane Readers Review group in exchange for an honest review. I liked this book. The characters were developed and the story flowed well. I like Grady but don't trust Lara at all. This book does end on a cliffhanger but hopefully the next part will be out soon. I'm not super anxious to read what happens next but for the price (if I had purchased it) it was a good read.
Received a free eBook for an honest review. Loved this book! Keeps you guessing the whole way through who can be trusted, who can't be trusted, what's happening next..... By the end of the book you keep trying to decide if you want the love interests together or not. CAN'T wait for the second installment.

omg another great book from the great lexy timms. Grady is a Pittsburgh policeman who is helping out nyc pd by going uncover but everything isn't what it seems, this book kept me on my toes I couldn't put it down and that ended wow I'm so ready for more.
Perfect For Me: Law Enforcement Undercover Cop Suspense Romance Thriller (Undercover Series Book 1) (Kindle Edition) This is a great story and is very easy to follow. The characters are easy to follow and are very likable. I would recommend this book highly for anyone who likes this genre of book. I was able to get involved at all times in the story and at no time did I get bored.
Lt. Grady keeps Pittsburghs streets safe. When he's through under ground in New York to uncover a drug ring things get crazy. Follow Grady on his journey through New York
I enjoyed this book. It was hard to put down
Hurricane readers book review gave me this book for my honest review
Perfect for Me is a romantic mystery/suspense about a cop going undercover in the drug world. It gets your attention as soon as you start and leaves you asking "When is the next book coming out?". This one is a keeper! **ARC provided in exchange for an honest review**
I'm loving Grady! He is such a strong man with a soft heart. I hope Lara is the woman he thinks she is. Can't wait to see what happens next with these two.
The story line was moderately likable until it ended. Then it just went to shit. I thought the ending was incredibly stupid and I understand that it was supposed to inspire interest so that I'd want to know what happens next in book 2 . . . But instead I really don't care to read/listen to the rest. It also didn't help that I didn't care for the narration *shrugs*
I was totally disappointed with the ending of Lexy Timms, Undercover Series Book 1! It ends with Lara shooting Grant & leaving him for dead. Lexy Timms other Series has picked up with story in the extended book. Not this series because it's a different set of characters. I guess she was tired of writing and cut the story off. I paid for the next two books, but now not interested at all. I guess this is the last series of hers I'll read.
This is an okay story if your into deception. At first I though it was cop rescues innocent girl but the story turned the other way. Also be warned there is a big cliffhanger at the end!
I really wanted to like this one more. The plot was interesting, it has twists and turns. The characters were OK. Then came the cliffhanger, I really hate it when I ends that way!
Oh wow, talk about an undercover job gone wrong! This book is super fun to read/listen and with the cliffhanger I will definitely be diving into the next soon.
I got about 20% of the way through it before I couldn't take anymore. not that it was horrible, but some of the stuff that happened was way too descriptive in a boring way and we haven't even met the love interest yet. I might give this one a reread or try to finish it later, but as of now, I'm giving it 3 stars. what I read wasn't horrible, it was just very slow and drawn out more than it should've been.
This book was pretty good, but left me hanging at the end. I guess the next book will pick up where this one left off. It just seemed to have an awkward ending.
Not worth my time at all. The plot sounded so promising but the story that it told was just down right not believable at all. The best thing about this book was that it was short! Will not be reading anymore installments to this series or anything else from this writer.
