The last thing Ashley Warren needed was her high school crush returning to town, especially with the problems she was having. Someone wanted her hotel…badly and had no issue with doing whatever was necessary to get it.
After the interested party runs off numerous contractors who were handling her hotel remodel, she has no other option but to accept John Hurks’ offer of help, but only on the remodel. John, however, wants more.
When things turn dangerous, he needs Ashley to follow his orders but he soon finds the little spitfire doesn’t take well to being told what to do. She might disobey John the old high school crush, but she will not disobey John the Dom.
Much to her surprise, Ashley finds she likes the consequences of defying a dirty, sexy Dom.
Hi. I’m an erotic romantic suspense author. I write for Liquid Silver Books, Loose-ID, and Ellora’s Cave.
I live in the land of dreams, where alpha men are tender, heroines are strong and sassy, and villains are brutal and conniving. When not deep in the mind of my next serial killer, ghost or futuristic space pilot, I can be found in the mountains of TN, spending time with family and friends. At least until the next story calls.
This is my homebase. Make yourself comfortable.

This was a great read! I have read a couple of books by this author and have enjoyed her other books as well. I would highly recommender it.
Jonathan is home again after being forced on vacation. Ashley is running the family hotel and loving it. There is just one problem... someone wants her to sell and is not liking her answer of no. Ashley had a crush on Jonathan during high school. When she needs help, he steps in. Jonathan finds her play room and offers to show her how everything works.
I guess I'm in the minority because I didn't think Dirty, Sexy Dom was that great. It wasn't horrible, but it just didn't resonate with me much. I don't think either character was very well developed and I didn't think the D/s relationship was very well thought out. Yes, Jonathon was sexy, but he was kind of a jerk, and he didn't really give Ashley much of a choice in entering their relationship. Nor did he give her any kind of teaching beforehand. He just rushed her into it without making sure she was truly up for that kind of relationship.
I also didn't feel much of a connection between them aside from sex. Neither displayed very strong feelings aside from annoyance with each other. That isn't exactly love to me.
You will love the fast pace read and story build. Jonathan was a Seal and now a mercenary who is a bad boy Dom. He reunites with the girl who had a crush on him in high school. He brings the true woman to surface in her. He and his mercenary friends save her home town and the suspense and mystery is mind blowing. He teamed Ashley how to be his sub. The love scenes are magical.
HOT HOT HOT!!!!! Jonathan and Ashley, the chemistry between these two was off the charts. John, afraid to commit to any type of relationship, he didnt want anyone to change him. Ashley has been in love with him since childhood, she loves him for him, respects his job and only wants his heart. this was loving, sexy sensual exciting, kinky smoking hot perfection loved loved loved this story
As always, Ms. Michaels pens another exciting book. The story line is fantastic. The BDSM elements will delight anyone who enjoys that. Love ex-SEALs, and this one has several. The scenes are action-packed and kept me on the edge of my seat. Happy reading!
Als Nederlandse is Engels niet mijn moedertaal, en zelfs ik stoorde me aan het enorme aantal taalfouten. Daarnaast vond ik Jonathan onaangenaam egocentrisch. Niet het beste boek van mw. Michaels.
This is a fun love story with playfulness, history, and a whole lot of teasing. There is nothing quite like stories involving smart women and alpha men.
The story was very well written the characters very believable, wonderful storyline. Jonathan is a wonderful Dom, He really does care even when harsh at times.. really a wonderful story
