My mom recently re-gave me the Little Mermaid Treasure Chest book collection she had been saving in the attic. I remember loving this book series as a kid. I remember this one being my absolute favorite of this series as a kid. And I can't tell it was because there are lots of creases in the pages of my copy haha. As an artistic kid, I loved seeing all these characters artistic talents and what they painted. Still do :)

In the simplest and purest of forms, what this story is really teaching is that different points of view make a place wonderful and unique. In the times we are living thats a powerful message. It's not about us or how we think, but taking in everyone's perspective makes for a beautiful world. 5 stars from me 🙌

I think that this spin-off style book brings an interesting, but realistic conflict to The Little Mermaid cast. The resolution is a bit cheesy, but hey, it's Disney. I quite like this one.

This book is a good book about teaching students to work together. Ariel and friends are having a painting competioin and instead of picking one winner her father suggests putting all the paintings together to make one great painting. I would use this book to have the students do a group writing project to help them work together.

I think these books are a bit lame, but Little Miss disagrees. Strongly if I can judge by their frequent occurrence in the bedtime lineup.
