RB Morris is a local writer/musician in Knoxville TN. I happened to hear him on a local live lunchtime radio show. He read a poem from his new book and ,of course, I had to go out and find the book. The poem that he read is titled On the Bus and ends with the lines,
Art is not the greater vehicle, but it's good for the distance. I advise all students of poetry to ride the bus.
Also, of course, I had to take a bus trip - he was right - it was the right 'next step' for me.
