This is a well constructed book on patchwork and quilting. It covers the basics of the different types of quilting patchwork and applique. There is also a section at the end showing some amazing finished quilts that should make you either want to cry or get your sewing machine out.

I haven't done much quilting myself. I made one once, so this book has given me some new ideas on how to create one. The instructions are clear and seem easy to follow. There are lots of instructional pictures/photos which is helpful. There are lots of different patterns to choose from and ideas to create one of your own design. I think even an experienced quilter would like this book.
