Bad
Usually I’d do not leave a bad review for a book, but this book was so bad I felt I needed to let readers know. It was total confusion from beginning to end, most of the time I will stop reading a book if it continues to confuse me. But I kept hoping it would get better, but it didn’t. I know I am not an author but I could have written a better book.

Book 1 in a Series, cliffhanger, series must be read in order because the characters continue into the next book.
Unfortunately this book is not written very well. I did not connect with the characters, I don't like how the MC Club interacts with each other. Tess' attitude at work, with friends, and with Derek are contradicting. The connection between main characters is weak and I just don't see it blossoming into a romance. The one sexual encounter did not leave me begging for more of the story.

WOW!! Totally over the top goodness. Evelyn Glass has won me over as a fan for her superb writings on all things MC related. Tall, dark and deadly Derek was an amazing character; a complete surprise as he starts off as his Presidents confidante and protector as well as being the Chief Enforcer for his MC--The Blacktop Sinners. Running on empty and in need of hospital care, Derek meets the beautifully spicy Tess, nurse extraordinaire.
Their beginning is beautiful and the ride in between was often climatic and scary and everything that holds true for MC/gangs and bodies being used as leverage. Several dramatic events unfold in the book and high pressure to see things through to the end but it was an amazing ride.

January 17, 2019Dumped it after reading a third. It’s all over the place and frankly I don’t believe Evelyn Glass wrote it. It’s amateurish and has not been anywhere near an editor. If this was the first book I’d read under that name, I’d never touch another. Don’t waste your time on this one.
