The first book in the Bear Elite series is a thrilling read with strong, compelling characters that pull readers into their story. Bear and Raven has some sizzling chemistry but with the intense situation and the emotional turmoil that comes from it keeps this romance on edge. There is lots of turbulent emotions from the relationship building as well and of course the heated passion that burns bright although some of the reactions from various parties but mostly from Ravyn seemed to be a bit off. This didn’t take away from the enjoyment of the story however, and readers can’t help but be intrigued with sexy bear shifters that are part of Special Forces right?
This story builds the suspense right from the beginning, so readers know that something is coming and that it might not be in Ravyn’s best interest. Her adrenaline junkie personality stands out but readers have to wonder how she will handle what’s coming. Surprising twists and dangerous adversaries keep the suspense and excitement building throughout and Bear along with his team add to it when Bear’s bear seems to be smitten with the human female that just might be the enemy. The story keeps the tension and suspense high throughout and the world is a fascinating one that readers will want more of.

Bear Armstrong is a grizzly bear shifter and Alpha of his clan. He and his two men Grant another grizzly bear shifter and Cutter a polar bear shifter. They work for a secret section of the government doing special operation missions. This time they are following Josh Price and his four men and two women who are all wolf shifters. Josh is wanting to start a war with the bears. Josh has hired Raven Holiday to take his group on a 4 week camping trip in the north woods.

She thought she was done for the day. Apparently these clients paid a lot of extra money for her expertise. This client us Jacob Price and the minute she approaches the table her hair stands on end and she is wary of them. She has been dreaming about a bear for weeks and she finally sees that bear during her camping trip.
So many secrets and hidden agendas. Raven knows nothing about shifters. She has never heard of them and boy us she in for a surprise. This has a happy ending.

I’m a big fan of Sedona Venez’s stories and this is another fantastic one of hers. There are bad wolves out there that just want to start a war, when Raven takes her wealthy clients on a trek through the wilderness she knows that somethings not right with them especially when she hears the growls. Bear is following the group he’s an enforcer for the government that deals with the paranormal, he never thought that he would find his mate in a human but is she?. If your looking for a book with action, adventure, danger, suspense, the paranormal, passion and romance then look no further. A fantastic story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Who is Raven and what do we find her doing and with whom when the story starts? Who is Josh Price and what has he hired Raven for? What does she do for a living? All I know is if I had her nightmares, or maybe they're premonitions, I would become a recluse. Who are Alpha, Beta, and Cutler? Whay are they following Josh's group? What do they want? Who is taggart? What has he asked Bear and his boys with doing? Read and see what the first part of this story is all about!

I was interested in this series so I read book one Its been out like 5 years, It is a cliffhanger so I was looking to binge read a series. Book 2 can not be found anywhere and I am sure it's out.... Can anyone point me to where? No I cant find it on amazon or google play or the author's website........ SOOOOOO it does jump around a bit with a lot of characters so pay attention if you do read it and good luck.

Very entertaining and well written. It has a lot of danger, suspense, emotional situations, excitement and more. He finds his mate. But he has a dangerous job. She is everything he wants in a mate but what decision does he make? The job or her? I received a review copy by booksprout and voluntarily review it.

I received this as an ARC but am voluntarily leaving this review. It start's with an adrenaline junky female jumping out of a plane with others. Raven is a guide who does it all. Hired to take a party into the Canadian wilderness, she is exposed to shifters.
While this book is short and stops just at a good spot it makes you want to buy the rest.

If you love alphas, shifters, and special ops, this is the story for you. This first installment is a quick read, but well crafted. The author's take on shifter lore is unique and I'm very much looking forward to reading the next two installments.

Operation Bear is a quick read and great way to start the series. It does leave the reader on a cliffhanger but definitely worth it to see where it goes from here. It offers suspense, a different twist on shifter folklore, and of course a bad guy that the reader will love to hate.

Wow! The heroine really gets blindsided here. She thinks it's just another job but ends up her life is really on the line. Throw in secret bear shifter "delta force" type hero's and really sneaky wolf bad guys and you have a good thriller. Can't wait for the next book in the series.

This was a slow burner for me, Just getting to know the history of the group but when the story really took off I couldnt out it down.
Firstly we met Raven. She is a sassy lady full of life, A total thrill junkie but she doesn't take any nonsense from anyone. She lives by rules, never fraternise with any of her clients. Raven works for a agency who organises group events, activities and team building She takes group of people out camping, parachute jumping etc. Raven had just finished a parachute with a group when she spotted Halle. Halle organises Ravens trips, She looking in to ever clients back ground. After all Raven was alone with big groups for anything up to months at a time, She had to feel save. Halle tells Raven she has a meal planned with a new group of clients. Halle had done a background check and it came back all clear but she thought the group were a bit odd not what you want to hear when they have a four week camping trip planned. Raven thinks that Josh Price the boss of the group was hot but something was definitely different about him..
The trip started out well, she had been took the group had never been camping before but she sensed that they were all seasoned campers why lie?? What was this group hiding?? I received this book as a arc for my honest opinion. Okay so I am new to this author and let me tell you I'm picky about reading new author's boojs,but something about this book pulled me. And holy cow it is Awesome start to what looks like will be an epic series. So this is part one. You meet a kick a** woman who is a skydiver and nature tour guide. She works for a company that takes Uber rich ceo's out to do crazy things. She gets hired fir a 4 week hike and camp with a rich ceo Josh and his staff members, who supposedly have no clue how to hike or camp, yet they are too good at it all. Her brain is screaming for her to leave. Her phones are stolen and things are about to get crazy. Bear and his teammates work for the military and are on the hunt for a outlaw group of shifters ran by Josh. Once bear gets a sniff of Raven the whole game changes. This book it sooooooooooooo good. I cannot wait for part 2. This is a must read. Your life will be so much better for it. Sedona Venez I am now a fan for life. Thank you for this awesome story. You got a new fan and I cannot wait for the world to read this epic story. To you reader's out there Congratulations on buying this awesome book, I hope you love it as much as me.

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. This book is not a stand alone it is part of a series it does end on a cliffhanger.
In this book we meet Raven and Bear. Raven is a extreme adventure guide who does everything from taking groups on skydiving jumps to taking groups for long camping trips. This is what has happened in this first book after taking a group on an sky diving exertion, her assistant tells her there is a new group that wants to take an extended camping trip in Canada. While this is what Raven does something just feels off about this group. Raven figures when all of their security checks have cleared it must just be her overactive imagination.
Bear is part of an elite group that started working for the government as a way to ensure the silence and security of all shifters. On this mission he is looking for a pack of wolf shifters that needs to come to justice before they expose all shifter kind.
Even though this book ends on a cliffhanger it will have you hooked from the first word till the very end. It contains adventure, danger, and the possibility of something with that special someone you never though you would find. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

Raven was a beautiful woman that was a thrill junkie. She loved the fact that her office was the open sky. Raven has a rule that she never dates or sleeps with a client. It is a rule she never breaks. But this has not stopped men hitting on her. Question is after meeting the handsome Josh Price how much of that rule will she be able to keep.
Josh Price and his men are hiring Raven to take them on a trip in the wilderness. Josh was handsome and hard to resist. There did seem something strange and off about Josh and his men. Something that she could put her finger on.

The moment you open this book you are catapulted into adventure!
Raven is an intriguing woman who goes from one adventure to another, taking care of all of those around her and making sure that they are safe and having fun as well as experiencing an amazing adventure. She loves her job and enjoys, from an emotional distance, getting to know the people who are participating in her adventure. But something seems off about this next group.
Bear doesn’t appear in this first part of the book until the reader is as convinced as Raven is that something just isn’t quite right with this group of “city people” that she has taken into the Canadian Wilderness. Bear and his team show up in the wilderness looking to finally take down this Alpha and his “pack”. But something is very confusing to Bear and his team because they appear have a human with them, a human female to be exact. Raven is an intriguing woman who goes from one adventure to another, taking care of all of those around her and making sure that they are safe and having fun as well as experiencing an amazing adventure. She loves her job and enjoys, from an emotional distance, getting to know the people who are participating in her adventure. But something seems off about this next group.
Bear doesn’t appear in this first part of the book until the reader is as convinced as Raven is that something just isn’t quite right with this group of “city people” that she has taken into the Canadian Wilderness. Bear and his team show up in the wilderness looking to finally take down this Alpha and his “pack”. But something is very confusing to Bear and his team because they appear have a human with them, a human female to be exact. And this female is someone Bear’s bear (hehehe) REALLY has taken an interest in. And his bear’s interest in something that Bear (the human) is desperately and steadfastly trying to ignore. This is the first book in the series and can be read as a stand alone. This was a novella and only about 80 pages long. So it's a relatively quick and easy read. From the beginning I was kind of hooked. We are introduced to Raven who is a guide for a company that takes people on sky diving or out on camping adventures in the wilderness. She gets a big group to take camping in the woods of Canada. Josh is the leader and even though he's attractive she's totally skeeved out by him from the get go. Anyway at the beginning of their trip she can tell that they are more familiar with the wilderness then she originally thought. As time goes on she notices that things aren't what they seem. In the meantime they are being tracked By shifter bears who know the people she is with and that they are not Good news. My favorite part of the book is kind of a spoiler. So I am not going to say what it is. However I felt that it was a great book and it really kept me interested and engaged. I am honestly quite mad I don't have the other books to read lol! Anyway I will Be definitely seeking out the other two books in the series so I can find out what happens!

This is part one of a three part serial. This novella had me intrigued from the start. Raven works as an instructor/guide for a company that specializes in adventures for groups. It starts out with her jumping out of an airplane and moves at a rapid pace from there. She meets up with Josh and his group of company executives to plan a four week long trip hiking through the Canadian wilderness. Josh has indicated that this is a very special trip for them. What does Josh have planned?
Raven senses that things are not as they seem, but goes ahead with the trip because that is what her company pays her to do. She has a satellite phone and radios to communicate with the outside world. What could go wrong?
Add in another element, an elite group of bear shifters keeping watch over Raven and the group. They have orders to capture Josh and his group, but are hesitant to move in with the unknown Raven involved.
Note that this novella ends in a cliffhanger and is meant to be read with the other two parts of the serial. I can't wait to read Part two.

I received a free review copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoyed this book. The only issue was that I had not read parts 1 and 2. But there were no issues just reading this story as a standalone. Bear and Raven are fighting a wolf alpha that wants to start a shifter war and take over leaving the wolves at the top of the food chain. Raven finds out who and what she really is and what had happened to her parents leaving her in the foster care system. Along with Gavin and Curry, Bear and Raven come up with a plan but is it too late? Really enjoyed the story.
I really enjoyed the 3rd part of the story and read it in one sitting. My preference, which has nothing to do with the author, who by the way did a great job with the story, is to have the whole book together. I have a hard time starting a book and waiting for segments. I had another story that did the same thing and even after reviewing the first two parts, ended up buying the whole book series because I couldn't remember what part of the story I had. LOL.

Pretty Good Beginning
Bear is a bear & Raven is an adventurer (she sky dives & gone camping in the wilderness); they haven't officially met yet though Raven has been having dreams of him in his bear form. Raven was hired to take a group of rich people camping; she has had a feeling that they were not what they seemed & at the end of this book she finds out that she's correct as they are rogue werewolves. Those rogues are what Bear & his crew are looking for to capture; but when Bear sees Raven he's attracted to her & his bear keeps telling him to she's their mate but he doesn't believe it. In the meantime the rogues have let Raven in on their secret & the fact that they are going to kill her in their "hunt". After she escapes she run into Bear in his bear form & faints; bear then turns into his human form & moves her into a cave where he thinks she will be safe & then leaves her & that is where the book ends. As much as I don't like these books that comes in parts I will continue with this series/parts.
