Cancel your plans, witches and warlocks! You're invited to tonight's Firewick Festival.
Not so fast. Carmen Brixton doesn’t need an invite. She’s certainly not going to let something that trivial stop her from attending the festival and finding her own set of sexy warlocks. She’s not a fire witch for nothing. As the youngest Brixton sister, she’s always been two steps behind her siblings. This time, she’s taking matters into her own hands—as long as the Elemental Board doesn’t find out.
But when Carmen crosses paths with the hot Durant twins, she’s not too ready to face the flames for them just yet, since the handsome duo made high school a living heaven and hell. She longed for them from afar, but they were way out of her league—or so she thought.
Twin warlocks Ryan and Royce Durant have always been inseparable. That’s why they knew if they ever formed a Perfect Triad Bond, they would create one together when their witch match showed up. When they run into Carmen, they’re reminded of their high school crush on her. To avoid a rivalry, they left the sexy witch alone. After all, her protective sisters were always nearby.
That didn’t keep the brothers from feeling like Carmen, with a scorching personality to go with her voluptuous curves, was witch enough for both of them. Now that they’ve got her all to themselves, they’re ready to claim her as their own.
However, danger lurks around the corner for Carmen when she runs across something meant to be hidden. Her hopes of making the last night of the Firewick Festival one to remember turns into just that.
But will Carmen live to enjoy the nights to come with her own warlocks? Can this pair of Alpha Warlock twins convince the sexy fire vixen she belongs with them forever and save her in time to enjoy it?
This 34,000-word romance story is the third in the Alpha Warlocks of Kala West interlinked series but can be read as a standalone novella. It has strong sexual situations and explicit content. For mature and brave readers who can handle magic, a sassy BBW, and strong Alpha Male twins only.

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. This book is part of a set but can be read as a stand alone.
In this book we meet Carmen Brixton and twin warrior's Ryan and Royce Durant. After the murder of their parents during their senior year of high school the boys are shipped off to live with their uncle who becomes the master of fire upon their fathers death. The boys both know there is something more to their parents murder but they are dealing with it differently. Ryan is trying to live life to the fullest and is determined to find their third. Royce knows that he won't be worth anything to anyone else unless he figures out who really killed their parents. The one thing the brother remember is the way they both remember Carmen.
Carmen remembers the brothers as well but figures their time has past. The other reason she is trying to put them out of her mind is due to the way Royce gave her the cold shoulder one day but never explained what she had done to deserve that treatment. Also a few days later Ryan kisses her out of the blue gives her this cryptic message, which she doesn't understand. A few days later Royce tries to talk to her about it but her fear keeps her from talking to him and when his parents die she figures she has missed her chance. Little did she know what was really going on with the brothers.
What neither realizes is that both the brothers and Carmen are sneaking into the Firewick Festival. This is a place where witches and warlocks go to find their potential mates. The only problem with this is you must be invited by the council which none of the are. Carmen's way of sneaking in is with a spell that only her intended can see her but she will be invisible to all others. So when the brothers see her she isn't sure if she is their intended or if the spell has warn off. All she knows is she is highly confused by them again. Ryan knows he needs to get his brother to live again and when they see Carmen again he believes this is destine that they are finding her at this time. Royce not so much, but even Royce can see the need to make sure their intended doesn't slip through their fingers a second time. Now all they have to do is convince her.
This book has many twist and turns you will find the couples from the first two books are back. This time they are all trying to find out what is happening to their family. The things they learn in this book will answer some questions but bring about others. This book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would recommend it but would also recommend reading the first two just so some of the references make sense.
I enjoyed all three sister's stories but I like Carmen's story the best. The youngest of the 3 witch sisters was determined to find her Warlock Mates; she just never knew they would be the thing brothers she use to pin for in High School.
Ryan and Royce were seniors in High School when Carmen was a freshman. Unbeknownst to her both brothers were in love with her back then and knew she was their witch.
When Carmen was abducted by their evil uncle (Master of Fire) the twins proved to her that she meant the world to them and they would never let her go.
Spoiler alert: Can't wait until the 3 witches find their Older Half Sister who's power is strong enough to command all elements: Fire, Air, Water, Earth and Spirit. This story ends with the sisters working on a plan to locate their half sister and finding her before the Master of Fire can get to her.
Ryan is certain he and his twin brother Royce will find their witch to complete their triad...he just needs to convince Royce to take a few minutes away from his quest to find their parents' murderer. Carmen is impatient to meet her warlocks and can't believe it's the twins whom she's had a crush on since high school. Before they can bask in perfect triad bliss they have to deal with a threat not only to them but the whole magical community.
I thought this was cute, I liked the characters and the story...I think I may check out some other installments.
When the ones who are going to complete you forever are the ones who made you burn for them in high school, what's it going to take to accept the inevitable. Dangerous situations causes family secrets to be exposed, a mystery being solved of who killed the guys parents. The chemistry between Carmen, Ryan and Royce was so Hot. I love how Royce and Ryan have loved Carmen for all these years and that they would do anything to protect her, love her and to keep her safe from harm and danger.

I received this ARC from the author because I signed up for her newsletter after reading the first in this series, The Alphe Warlocks’ Claim. I was so taken in by the world Skye had created that I immediately plunged into this novel and was hooked all over again. I didn’t realize that I had skipped over the second in the series, though, and absolutely need to go buy it.
The negative about this novel is that I felt like the writing could use some polishing. It’s not that there are a lot of grammatical errors. In fact, the only one I can think of offhand is that the author uses the wrong sister’s name in one place. It is hard to explain, however. When you read it, it gives off the feel of being a novella. Everything moves quickly with enough detail to keep the reader in the loop, but that’s it. When I kept reading and realized that this isn’t as of a short story as I initially thought, I felt like there should have been more. More what, I am not sure. More descriptions? More detail? It’s hard to put my finger on it.
Regardless, I still loved the story. Skye’s magically community and ideas are among my favorite in the literary world. Not too mention, I really like her characters. The Brixton sisters are fierce and funny and I found I could relate to them since I have a similar relationship with my own sister. I also appreciated that the one angsty character quickly got over his suffering and moved on. It was refreshing to not having to keep revisiting his anguish and that he was able to resolve it without putting the reader through too much torment.
I also love how the men treat their women in this series. While they want to protect them and do what is best for them, they are not controlling nor do they mistreat their women under the ideal that “they know what is best for her.” It is legitimately a loving partnership between all three.
I feel the synopsis make this story sound steamier than it is. While Skye knows how to write an erotic scene, they are few and far between. And I actually didn’t mind one bit. Skye’s Alpha Warlocks is one of the few series that I started for the erotica but stayed for the story. In fact, in some places, I actually skipped over the erotic scenes because I wanted to know what happened in the story.
If you are looking for a paranormal romance where alpha males find their alpha females, and love them with everything they are, then I highly recommend this series.
This is the first of the series that I have read. I found the characters endearing and a bit stuck in the past. The suspense and magic had me interested from the beginning when Ryan blew down Royce's door. I did laugh at that. I found the backstory interesting and necessary to the story, but it went on a bit too long for me. Every time you turn around they are rehashing the same things. Other than that, I love the fire and passion Carmen has and how the three of them together are a force to be reckoned with. I am definitely looking forward to their next story and the danger that still hasn't been dealt with. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
OMG! This was the best one of the series so far. Carmen is the most headstrong of the sisters but she knows what she wants and goes full force to get it. She's been in love with Royce and Ryan since high school. They broke her heart when they turned her away. She turned the hurt around and was determined to get her warlocks at the Firewick. Her scheme led them to her again but then they turned her away again. While running she is kidnapped. It gets so much better from there. If you haven't read this series you seriously need to. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
The Alpha Warlock's Own: Alpha Warlocks of Kala West Story#3 by AURIELLA SKYE
Even though I have read the (so far as the next addition isn't out yet) third book first,it's just made me want to get the series! Love feisty, determined and strong females and these sisters sure are!! Plus double the HOTNESS IN THEIR OWN PAIR OF ALPHA WARLOCKS!! I'm SO RECOMMENDING THAT YOU GRAB A S COMFORTABLE SPOT AND ENJOY THE HEAT!!
Just as the first two books in the series, once i started reading i couldn't stop til the very end. The bond between Carmen, Ryan and, Royce is so strong it goes back before they could fully understand what it meant. In the midst of rediscovering this bond, so much more comes to light things that will effect all the sisters and there warlocks.
Loved every minute, got this book on KU and read the entire series in 1 day. Carmen, Royce and Ryan wow the chemistry was off the charts good. Can't wait for the continuation to see what happens.
