A great overview of the revolutionary syndicalist movement across the globe. For some movements such as the Dutch syndicalists this is the only available english-langauge text. Being a collection of essays by different contributors the strength of each section varies, particularly good were the sections covering the Spanish CNT and the history of the IWMA up to the second world war.
