The concepts are explained in an attractive manner, by use of visual aids such as images which help to grasp them easily. Also, they have explained how the fluid mechanics have been evolved till today and the reader is left excited about the future scope of research and applications in this subject.

Although at a lower level(mathematical) than other books with similar approach(like Munson's), it offers intuition and has good examples. It offers the physical explanations to nearly every mathematical description of a phenomenon, but it does not go the extra mile to delve into some subtle themes, something that would be very useful for a physics major student. But for engineering students it is the ideal book.
A great book! With a communicative way of explaining the shopisticated fluid-mechanics-things, I can both understand and laugh at certain parts. Wish me an A in fluid mechanics!
Skipped a few chapters and certain section as they are not tested. But reading this give me a better understanding of fluid dynamics and make you see the world in a different way.
