Great Horned Owls is a lovely non fiction book to learn a bit about the birds.

I'm not always keen on reading non fiction books with the children as the don't always flow as well as fiction and the children tend to expect books to be stories but this book flowed very well and whilst it is nonfiction it also feels a bit like a story with the way it's written.

The children enjoyed listening to this book and it is great that they got to learn a bit about great horned owls from where they live to their families.

The pictures in the book are fantastic with a photo of the owls covering a large amount of each page which really makes them stand out. The children liked seeing the owls on each page. We enjoyed reading this book and it was nice to learn about these beautiful birds.
