I read this for a class and was pleasantly surprised how useful it will be as our district continues to move forward with integrating STEM.

Our school district has been exploring 21st century education for at least 10 years. In 2011 we opened a magnet STEM high school that has been recognized nationally and state (PA) wide. This year 'Innovation Time' is taking place as an encore period once per cycle in grades K-5. It will be interesting to see how these changes impact our district's ability to educate students. Is STEM the answer to more students being engaged and successful life-long learners and problem solvers? Time may tell...
