This was a brief, cut to the chase, yet fairly interesting book about.....being aware of bears. Even better, it also has useful information about avoiding bears.

Some good information for complete beginners, but some of this information is outdated or flat out wrong. Instantly knocked off one star for even mentioning bear bells as a useful tool. You'd be much better off reading something written by an animal behaviorist such as Stephen Herrero.
