This was an interesting look at the 1960's with all of its turmoil. The Stuart family continued to interest me as the newest generation grew up, learned hard but valuable lessons, and grew in awareness of the gifts God had given them and how those could bring them joy or heartache, depending on the choices they made. This is a very enjoyable Christian historical fiction series that flows quickly.

This book did a great job of getting into the emotions individuals must have had during this time period. The book made me appreciate how rapidly society was changing.
