so glad 2 finally sit i butt down and read me some Carly Phillips ...oh yeah!! the girl can write ... i gotta check ...is this my 1st?? shhh!! don't tell ... i know, i know ... shame on me ... she is a genius who has been writing for years ... right??! or at least has tons of books??! where have i been .. under a rock or what?? no i read all the time ...i am finally fitting her in ... i just need like another eye or something ??! lol!! always being silly ...sorry ... 2 the review ... let's jump! i love a box set ... so fun!! love these characters!! such a fan of her writing style and it will not be the last read by Carly ... never ever. always a fan.

DARE TO LOVE:
When Ian speaks he demands the room's attention, "because I intend to get to know you personally, Riley Taylor. So I can't be mixing business with pleasure." Ian he's a bossy man, "that's because I'm not asking. You're hungry, I'm hungry. We'll go get something together." Riley and Ian have some interesting conversations especially of Ian's underwear or lack thereof:
"Commando?" she asked, the very thought sending heat spiraling through her.
He shrugged, as if his lack of underwear were and everyday occurrence. "I sleep nude, might as well make life as easy as possible."
He also lays it down straight for Riley so she doesn't get confused about what's going on between them, "good. Because I haven't brought women to my home, and I definitely don't have them in my office. You seem to be the exception to every damned rule I have." I can't wait for Alex's story, I love these Dare men.
DARE TO DESIRE:
Alex, well let's just say he can be a harda**, "there is no we, sweetheart. It was fun. Now it's over." I mean then after acting like that the boy goes ahead and thinks Madison is going to fall off her feet into him, it's like I don't think so, "he shot her a knowing grin. "I don't mind being so close to you." His brown eyes sparkled with mischief. "You smell good." He deliberately inhaled, his nose close to the sensitive spot behind her ear." I mean like seriously the boy pulls out all the stops, "a dimple formed in his cheek. "I admit I want to spend time with you. Anything else I say can only get me in trouble." He grinned, surely intending to disarm her. "Let's go for dinner tonight." I mean he's also a jealous sort ladies, "who's the guy? Is it serious?" he asked, suddenly back in her personal space." I mean the boy just loves to tease her, "and it's so good, isn't it? So effing hot?" He ground his di** into her sex. "Like you're never had it before?" I mean Madison can get easily distracted with Alex around, "the sheet dropped around his waist, and his gorgeous chest greeted her, making her wish they had more time. "Quit ogling and go shower," he said in a gruff voice." I love this series, and I love Carly's work!

Dylan is such a typical man when it comes to sex and not keeping his hands off his woman, "thank God, because he thought his c*** was going to explode. "You're up for more?" He's the type of man who can't go a day without seeing his woman, "I haven't seen you since yesterday, you're here now...so lock the door." He's also the type of man who knows how to give in to his woman's demands, "baby, I went to the nearest mini-mart at eleven p.m. last night looking for mint chocolate chip ice cream. It's not that easy." It was nice to see a Dare woman get some attention I mean the Dare men are all alpha hot but we needed to show the women some loving as well.

He has standards and expectations and he has no problem sharing those with his woman, "because rumor has it you’re attracted to bad boys.” He braced his hands on her hips, lifted her up, and placed her on the counter, sliding his big body between her legs. A low hum of anticipation took up residence in her belly— and other places. “And I want you attracted to only me." Scott likes to give his woman compliments and praise her, "damn, baby. Do you have any idea what it does to me to see you on your knees like that." I love this series I hope it never ends this Dare men are alpha men and you can't help but love them.

Wow
Loved all four stories in the book. All of them with an emotional past, that took love from a great partner to get them through. Some dramas with ex’s and parents. Loved the series of family and look forward to the next in line.

This box set includes four books in Carly Phillips' Dare series. If you like your romance a little hotter and a little sexier then try these out!
Dare to Love :
Carly Phillips is an auto-buy for me. I just love her books. She has really turned up the heat on this one and I really enjoyed it. The hero, Ian Dare and the heroine, Riley Taylor both have some serious issues from the past. They both want to control everything in their lives because of things that happened in the past. It was enjoyable watching these two learn how to give up some of that control they needed to cope. I loved all of the other characters, especially Ian's half brother, Alex. Such a great storyline with these characters and I can't wait to learn more about each of Ian's siblings and half siblings. All in all great story with great characters. My only complaint would be that it was shorter in length than a usual Carly book and since I love Carly's books I wished it went on longer! ;)
Dare to Desire :
Alex Dare has it all...quarterback of the Tampa Breakers...single playboy who has his pick of woman...and enough money to do whatever he wished. Except have the one woman he really wanted. A few months ago Alex met Madison Evans at the hospital and she wouldn't give him the time of day. Flash forward and Alex has finally hooked up with Madison, who has become quite chummy with his family. During the Thanksgiving weekend football game, Alex receives a hit that is probably career ending. When Madison visits Alex in the hospital, he lashes out and tells her to go away. Hurt, she does, vowing never to give him the time of day again!
Alex is in a deep depression since his career is over. His half brother, Ian, the president of the Miami Thunder, has a proposition for Alex. He also has a new job he wants Madison to do. Little do Alex and Madison know that they will be working with each other! What a great way to push these two together! I loved how they slowly worked their way back to each other. It took awhile but these two eventually got their happy ending and Madison got the family she always longed for. Their ending was just perfect for them!
Overall a great, sexy story!
Dare to Touch :
Just when I think there is no way Carly Phillips' can write a better book than the one before, I am proven wrong again. Dare to Touch is about Olivia Dare and Dylan Rhodes. Olivia is a strong, hardworking member of the Miami Thunder's Execute Team. She puts all her passion into her work. Unfortunately for Dylan, who is the team's Travel Director, he would like some of that passion to come his way. Dylan finally decides to take matters into his own hands at Olivia's birthday party. He pulls her into the hallway, gives her one of the best kisses she has ever had, gives her her present and walks away. Dylan knows he wants a relationship with Olivia but he can tell that she tends to shy away from relationships. He is determined to break through her guarded walls and get through to her. Olivia's back story just broke my heart. On more than one occasion I found myself tearing up. Dylan's childhood was different, yet the same. How these two wounded hearts could find each other just made their relationship stronger. I loved their journey to their happy ending. It was sweet, sexy and emotional. I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Olivia's sister Avery and cannot wait for her story. She seems like a hoot! I am really enjoying all these crazy Dare family members.
Dare to Hold :
We first met Meg Thompson in Dare to Touch. After her unstable ex, Mike, pushed her and she landed in the hospital and almost lost her baby, Meg meets Scott Dare when he's the policeman who takes her statement. Immediately these two are drawn to each other. Meg is determined to stand on her own two feet after a long string of unhealthy attachments to men, including Scott's sister Olivia's husband, Dylan. Scott on the other hand is determined to protect and take care of Meg based on his nurturing ways.
Scott comes to Meg's rescue one night at a bar and agrees to take her home. She tells him her friends just wanted her to find a one night stand to enjoy before her pregnancy starts showing and of course Scott is more than happy to offer his services! What neither of them ever thought was how explosive they would be together. Afterwards, Scott is determined to be with Meg for more than just one night.
A week later Scott shows up at Meg's place just after Mike ignores the restraining order Meg has against him. Of course Scott is in full protective mode. While Scott is protecting Meg, their feelings continue to grow until Scott reveals a big secret from his past. This causes Meg to withdraw. Meg and Scott both need to overcome damaging events from their pasts in order to move forward into a future together.
The way these two interacted with each other was perfect. Scott could determine what things Meg needed emotionally or physically at just the right times and she did the same for him. Sexually they were explosive!
Their happy ending was just wonderful and I can't wait to see more into their future.

Dare to love
Ian and Riley are great. They draw you in to their love story, with just enough angst to keep you guessing. This is the beginning of another unbelievable series by Carly Phillips.
Dare to touch
Dare to touch is the next installment of the dare series. It is Carly Phillips at her best. Dylan and Olivia's story has love, suspense and respect. You are hoping for them through the battles through the whole book. They fought their past and other people and won. All of the characters are woven through the story so you are wanting more . You finish reading this book wanting more and waiting for the next installment of the dare family.

Alex Dare is a quarterback Madison is a social worker can they work out their differences. This was a great read and another hit from Carly Philips

Carly Phillips keeps out doing herself. Meg and Scott are hot. They fell hard and fast for each other. This book has love, sex, angst. Kits keeps you guessing. The great thing about the dare to love series is you don't have to read them all but why wouldn't you, just to keep up with what is going on with all the other characters.
