For a 93 page booklet, this packs quite a bit of information. I had to pause every couple of pages to absorb the concepts. A great overview for leaders and Scouts alike. I was surprised at the discussions on Communism and Human Rights that the author(s) indulged in pointing out flaws; even with Capitalism. It seemed to be fairly balanced. Lesson taught: We need to be conscious of human conditions throughout our world and while being tolerant and understanding, work to promote the rights of all people.
A good overview to assist in understanding the world around us and how we play a part in being a citizen of the world. It is difficult to keep updated as the world continues to change, but a good job in providing basic information.
Citizenship in the World was about how to be a good citizen in the world and about international government and associations. It taught me all the things I needed to know for my Citizenship in the World merit badge. I highly recommend this book to scouts.
