A sexy category romance from Entangled's Brazen imprint...

When fantasy and reality collide...

There's nothing like a near death experience to make a guy reassess his life. And that's exactly what nightclub owner Logan McCabe decides to do, starting with looking up the girl he spent one wild night with eleven years ago, right before his life turned to crap. He spent a year fantasizing about her. Now he's ready to see how reality matches up.

Abigail Parker is a perfectionist. She's only strayed from the straight and narrow once in her life, on her eighteenth birthday. It was supposed to be one wild night with a totally unsuitable man before she settled into her sensible future. Instead it changed her life forever.

Logan might still be the sexiest man Abagail has ever seen, but a dirty-talking, tattooed, ex-con is the last thing she needs in her perfect life. He claims she's his fantasy girl, but what he doesn't know is she's also the mother of his ten-year old daughter...

Growing up in the cold, wet, north of England, Nina Croft spent a lot of time dreaming of faraway sunnier places and ponies. When she discovered both, along with a whole load of other things, could be found between the covers of a book, her life changed forever.

Later, she headed south, picked up the perfect husband along the way, and together they volunteered to work in Africa. There they discovered a love of exotic places and a dislike of 9-5 work. Afterward they spent a number of years travelling (whenever possible) intermingled with working (whenever necessary.) Eventually they stumbled upon a remote area in the mountains of southern Spain and the small almond farm they now call home.

Nina spends her days reading, writing and riding her mare, Gencianna, under the blue Spanish skies—sunshine and ponies. She reckons this is proof that dreams really can come true if you want them enough.

Nina's writing mixes romance with elements of the paranormal and science fiction

There's only one thing I want your mouth doing right now, and it isn't talking."

Nothing like floating on a life raft with your buddies after escaping a sinking ship and puking off the side to reflect on one's life. But that's exactly what Logan McCabe finds himself doing. When the discussion leads to the one thing they'd go back in time to change, there's only one thing floating in Logan's mind. The sizzling one night stand he shared with a woman eleven years ago that rocked his world. So what's a man to do? Look her up, track her down, and proposition her for more, of course.

Abby Parker is sensible, from her actions to her low heeled sandals. She had one night of wild eleven years ago, and got herself a souvenir to cherish the memory on top of it. She's not looking for a walk on the wild side again, but when the sexy, tatted and dirty talking Logan shows up on her door, he throws her perfectly sensible life for one hell of a loop.

His Fantasy Girl is the first book in Nina's scorching new Things To Do Before You Die series. If you love dirty talkers with a bit of a kinky side, heroines that are proper but with that right amount of wild to drive the hero even wilder, and a whole lot of hot sexy loving, this book is sure to please.
I like the way you look at my cock. Like you're hungry for it and you'll let me do whatever I like with it."

Logan is an ex-con with an aversion to cops, and the Abby eleven years later just happens to be a detective. A match made in heaven they are not. I absolutely loved these two together. Abby may be a touch prissy, but she sure gives as good as she gets. Logan is everything I've come to love in a Brazen hero, totally alpha and a dirty talking god. Add in a secret pregnancy trope, and watch the sparks fly! My only quibble is what I felt was a little too much cheese with the ending. But that certainly didn't make this any less good.

If you're looking for a sizzling romance to spend an evening with, look no further than this one.

3 When Fantasy and Reality Collide For Real Stars * * *

It's Live!Amazon Link: http://www.amazon.com/His-Fantasy-Gir...

I think burbs are important... because if done right... they will tell you exactly what you will get.

Nina Croft and Brazen know their stuff. They said fantasy and reality would collide and it really did in this book. We got a theme of the bad boy hook up with the good girl years ago...Both never forgot the feelings and excitement of that night.

Both had souvenirs from that one time...

He, a prison record which turned him around to the straight and narrow, with an edge...

She, a 10 year old daughter and determination which sustained her in her career as a police officer.

These two have lived apart and only a life changing moment causes him to seek her out...for she was the fantasy which held him together for the year he was away...... thoughts of her and their time together gave him the ability to suck it up, put his head on straight and make it through. By having this scare on the seas with two close friends...he decides life is too short to not follow his gut and find his "fantasy girl".

He seeks her out thinking not too much of how things will turn out... his mind clouded by the lust and desire he held for her. Upon seeing him again, she is stunned as she never thought she would. She hadn't intended to hide her daughter from him... she went to the scene of their hook up only to be informed he was in jail...At 18, that was a lot to take in while still reeling from finding out she was pregnant...Her main concern was to raise her baby...and that stayed her focus.

So this was the reality; a man denied his freedom learned from the experience and made a success out of his life...is shaken up, looks to find that one girl who had played in his mind for years...finds her and then what...

Well, this is where fantasy plays a huge part for the reader... because our gal who has been extremely sensible to her detriment... meaning no real fun and games over the past 10 years which equaled the passion her time with her bad boy...spends very little time with him....

And Bam...

He is dirty talking to her, hands are in places confirming how excited she is from said dirty talking...and she sees stars...

These two have this inability to not get together...even when she is telling herself...she needs to step back...For this bad boy is not into relationships and she doesn't know him except she is friggin attracted to him like crazy.

Eventually, she tells him he has a daughter which stuns and hurts him. Growing up, he missed having his father for many years... and he would never knowingly do that to a child of his...

So what we have is a couple who must find common ground for the sake of their daughter and also figure out what they are going to do about all this sexual pull they have for each other...neither thinking either of them will be in it for the long haul...for he thinks she is too perfect for him and she thinks she is not hot enough for him.

Take all of the above, lace hot sexy talk, a man who has no problem going after his "fantasy girl" and a woman who must decide what is more important, personal happiness or her job.

Nina Croft puts all of these things together as promised... with fantasy and reality colliding.

4 solid stars !!

If I had to describe this book in a sentence: Super sexy as in steamy to the core ! With a dash of drama.

Would Recommended to Aurora Rose Reynolds' s fans out there !! This book would probably fit right in with ARR's Until Series..Sure it does lack the BOOM of Insta-love that the Mayson brothers are famous for BUT hey ! There is a serious case of Insta-Lust between the two main leads in THIS BOOK (for all you anti-Insta love kinda readers out there :),before they finally build up their relationship to the end.

4 - "Is this one of your fantasies?" Stars!

I love this author’s work, there is just something about Nina’s writing style and characters that ticks the boxes for me every time. His Fantasy Girl was absolutely no exception, really entertaining and sexy, with a few giggles and a little drama thrown in for good measure.

After finding themselves stuck on a life raft when the cruise ship they are traveling on sinks Logan McCabe and his two friends make a pact that they are going to go back and see if the women that meant so much to them in the past, really are the one’s that got away.

For Logan that is very much a one, in the form of the ‘night stand’ variety, and he gets a little more than he bargained for when he knocks on Abigail Parker's door, after eleven years.

The chemistry between this couple is hot from the get-go, Abi doesn’t want to want the sexy, long haired, tattooed night-club owner, and Logan is determined to charm her out of her pants, and into his bed by using every trick he has up his sleeve.

”I like the way you look at my cock… Like you’re hungry for it and you’ll let me do whatever I like with it.”

Nina Croft knows how to craft the perfect Brazen book in my opinion, and of late I think this is something the publisher has struggled with massively. His Fantasy Girl has the perfect balance of story, sexy times, drama and character development. Nothing is dragged out for too long, things get going really quickly, and you like the characters that are involved.

Another Winner for me, and I am looking forward to seeing where the next book in the Things to do Before You Die series takes us.

2 stars! **

This book just didn't do it for me. I am NINA CROFT's fan, but this one was a huge disappointment.

Most of it was sex, sex and sex. The characters were boring and annoying. The whole book was bleak.

There were several things that bothered me.

1. I know that Abby hadn't seen Logan for eleven years, but I think that one should recognize the father of her child.
1.1. The child that looks exactly like her father.
2. So you see a man that knocked you up after a decade and you just jump into his bed before even telling him he has a child? Really, Abby? Really?

3. They "loved" each other after couple of weeks - most of it they were ignoring each other and when they weren't they were hooking up. Yeah. I can see that this is where you learn about the other person and actually fall in love with him. I've been doing it wrong my entire life.
4. Why is it such a big deal that she's a part of the police? She wasn't the one who locked Logan up. She was barely 18 at that time soo..
5. Some daugther-mother relationship? Where? Abby claimed to have done everything for her daughter but I haven't seen almost any interaction and I don't think that Abby even thought about her.
6. Her 10 year old dauger was behaving like she was 30.
7. I could probably go on and on, but I'll end it here. Abruptly. Like the book.

3.5/5

His Fantasy Girl was another Brazen book I picked up because I wanted to check out other authors in the line. While this one started off shaky for me, I ended up enjoying it towards the end, especially the romance. The whole concept was a little strange with Logan all of a sudden wanting to get with Abigail, his one night stand from 11 years ago, after a near-death experience and in the process of learning that he has a daughter. Even though I wasn't completely behind the concept, I found myself enjoying the chemistry between Logan and Abigail, which was smoking, by the way. The sexy times were well-written and were fun to read. I liked the romance a lot too. The two of them weren't sure what to do with each other especially since Logan was an ex-con and Abigail was a police sergeant, but they slowly got to know each other physically and emotionally and through their daughter. The ending was sweet and completely satisfying. Nina Croft is a Brazen author I'll be checking out in the future.

Logan had a near death experience and thinks about the one moment in his life that he would love to get a second chance. 11 years ago, he had a one-night stand before he went to prison for a year. He thought about Abby for a year while in prison to help him get through his time, she was his fantasy girl. He decides to look her up and he shows up at her door. When Abby was 18, she had one wild night of unprotected sex with Logan that resulted in a pregnancy he knows nothing about. She came looking for him when she found out she was pregnant but he was in jail. She never expects him to show up on her doorstep 11 years later.

There were some parts of this book that I enjoyed - it was really steamy and I absolutely adored Logan's interactions with his daughter. There were also a few things I didn't like but overall, I thought this was a light, sexy story. Looking forward to reading more by this author.

I love second chance romances and I'm totally into the secret baby trope right now so this was exactly what I wanted.

I loved that Abby was the first thing Logan thought of after a near death experience and that he set out to reconnect with "the one that got away".

There was definite chemistry between Abby and Logan. As soon as they saw each other again, they couldn't keep their hands off one another.

I was happy that Logan, while mad, didn't treat Abby like crap after finding out about Jenny. He made his anger known, but he didn't make things difficult for Abby, and he didn't threaten her.

I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

3.5 Come on, sarge stars

Following a brush with death, Logan McCabe agrees with his fellow dodgers to revisit a past regret. His was to look up the girl that got away, which meant searching out the nameless siren that had totally captivated him that night eleven years ago. She may be nameless, but he had revisited her in his constant fantasies, that had got him through a difficult time in his life.

Abigail Parker wrote the book on sensible, excluding her eighteenth birthday, when she took a little duck courage, and a lot of pluck, and spent the night with the least sensible man she could possibly find.

What Abby didn’t expect was to have an everlasting reminder of that night, in her daughter, Jennifer.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, from the immediate chemistry between these two, to the smart mouth tussles. Logan had been mislabelled, and Abby struggled with the alignment of that against her ordered life.

Any story with an injection of kid, has me on side immediately. And although Jenny was ten, she still had that wonderful innocence that melted Logan’s heart.

This author writes an enjoyable, steamy story, having previously enjoyed her Babysitting a Billionaire series. I look forward to more from Nina for sure.

Nina Croft is an author with an engaging enjoyable style and His Fantasy Girl is a promising start to her Things To Do Before You Die series.

description

Loosely linked to the last book in her Babysitting a Billionaire series, in that Logan McCabe is the brother of Declan who featured in Taking Control, her play on the bad boy/good girl trope grabbed from the start. Following a near death experience Logan decides to seek out the girl who has lived in his dreams following a one night stand eleven years previously. And when he finds her, he discovers more than he expected.

"You made me feel so good. It was the best night of my life."
"Mine, too"

From the start this was a couple with a great chemistry and, whilst it was fairly predictable and a little drawn out in the second half, it was an enjoyable sexy read. Looking forward to more in the series. 3.5 stars.

A near death experience was all it took for bad boy nightclub owner, Logan McCabe, to reassess his life and have him reflecting on what is the one moment in his life that he would love to get a second chance. And the only thing that Logan could think of was his one hot wild sexy night eleven years ago with this hot young 18 year old girl. This young woman turned out to be his fantasy girl. Every dream and sexual fantasy would always go back to that one night and girl. And so begins Logan search for his fantasy girl, Abigail Parker.

#HisFantasyGirl1

On her eighteenth birthday, Abigail Parker decided one night to be reckless. One night to be wild and have some fun. Well, Abigail did just that. She had one hot passionate night with a man that she met at a nightclub. And the end result was her being pregnant with Jenny. Fast forward to eleven years later, Abigail never expected to see Logan standing on her doorstep. Unaware that he is a father, Logan convinces Abigail to let loose and submit to his sexual fantasies. As Logan and Abigail begins a whirlwind of sexual fantasy, Abigail finally tells him that he is the father to their daughter, Jenny. So when fantasy collides with reality, will Logan realize that his fantasy girl could be his shot at a second chance?

His Fantasy Girl by Nina Croft had every elements that every Brazen junkie craves from hot sex, dirty talking alpha males, and of course those HEA endings that will leave a smile on your face. This book was a great read and definitely a reminder that fantasy can become a reality.

Logan McCabe comes close to dying in a boat wreck, so he and his friends decide on things to do before they die. Logan's goal is to look up his Fantasy Girl, a girl he had a wild night with 11 years ago before he went to prison for a year. He spent that year fantasizing about her. When he got out of prison he straightened up, but he's still a tattooed, long-haired, club-owning bad boy. And he's leery of cops.

Logan's Fantasy Girl is Abigail Parker, now a prim and proper police sergeant who is working hard to become a detective. She must be circumspect in her personal life. She is surprised and terrified to find Logan on her doorstep, because she has a secret. Logan is the father of her 10-year-old daughter, and she never told him.

Logan is angry that he didn't know about his daughter, and feels that Abby thinks he isn't good enough for her or their daughter. And yet the sparks fly between Abby and Logan.

But Logan isn't a relationship kind of guy, and Abby is. No matter how attracted they are to each other, they can't seem to get beyond that.
...
Abby was a bit too prim and proper and hurtful to Logan for me, which is why this book earned only 4*s. But I loved bad-boy Logan and his hot fantasies. And this book is HOT!

There's a dash of humor to the story which I also loved.

The book is a quick read and I couldn't put it down. I almost read it in one sitting.

The last scene before the epilogue is heart-warming and perfect.

HIS FANTASY GIRL is closely tied to the characters of Croft's TAKING CONTROL. Logan is Declan's half brother and Rory's son. I recommend both HIS FANTASY GIRL and TAKING CONTROL. In fact, I recommend just about anything from Nina Croft if the premise interests you. I haven't read a bad book from her yet.

Enjoy!

After a near death experience, Logan McCabe decides that one of the things he must do is look up this fantasy girl and see how reality matches up in this captivating contemporary romance.

As a perfectionist Imogen Parker has only strayed from the straight and narrow once in her life and the reader can’t help but get caught up in the story as Logan and Imogen’s past takes them both on an unexpected path in the present. The chemistry is ubër hot and the sex scenes are hot and steamy but the relationship is a bit on the messy side with careers, emotional issues and the past keeping the turmoil high while these strong compelling characters strive for their happily ever afters in this fast paced, smooth flowing plot that captivates readers with suspense and romance.

Imogen may think that Logan is still the sexiest man she has ever seen and the chemistry keeps pulling her right back in but the last thing she needs is the dirty-talking, tattooed, ex-con in her life just when she’s up for a promotion and the expectation builds as sparks fly and emotions erupt keeping everyone on the edge of their seat. Well written scenes and details make it easy for the reader to become absorbed in the story and intriguing events guarantee that there is never a dull moment between Imogen and Logan.

Imogen and Logan captured my attention right away and held me hostage throughout the story and I can’t wait to find out how Logan’s friends’ to do list turns out, especially after that teasing glimpse.

Suddenly wanting a chance with his one-night stand 11 years ago - with only memories of hot sex driving him - after a shipwreck that supposedly made him reevaluate his priorities, Logan McCabe decides to look up a woman with whom he has had no contact ever since that day to replay his fantasies about her in technicolour. It's as far as the plan goes.

That, in itself, made very little sense to me (there's the assumption that nothing has changed in the intervening years and of course, sexual chemistry would be as hot as always) and the straight plunge into sex the moment he finds Abigail Parker made me wonder if this was one of those "plots" in porn videos that existed just so that characters could hurry onto the bedroom action. The story gets a little more grounded when Logan discovers that he is in fact, saddled with a daughter.

But for lust to turn to love when him and Abby have nothing in common...? Then again, if this is erotica, then the believability of the narrative really isn't the point here, even if there's really nothing wrong with the writing itself.

•••••••••••

REVIEW: 3.5 stars-- HIS FANTASY GIRL is the first installment in Nina Croft’s THINGS TO DO BEFORE YOU DIE contemporary, adult, erotic, romance series focusing on three friends-Vito, Josh and Logan. Six weeks earlier, a cruise ship fire left the three friends struggling to survive; each made a commitment to go after the one that got away. This is security nightclub owner Logan McCabe, and Abigail Parker’s story line.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Logan and Abigail) HIS FANTASY GIRL is a second chance, of sorts, for two people whose lives changed forever following a one-night stand. Fast forward eleven years, when Logan comes face to face with the woman who has starred in all of his fantasies but a woman who barely acknowledges their one night together. Logan disappeared following their night of passion, and in the ensuing time Abigail’s life had to be put on hold.

Abigail is a single mother, to Logan’s ten year old daughter, and a woman determined to keep her distance until her daughter begins to ask questions about the man she has never met. Enter Logan McCabe, who wants to rekindle his relationship with Abigail Parker, but Abigail knows that to begin something with Logan could be the downfall of her future plans.

HIS FANTASY GIRL reveals a little bit of the history between Abigail and Logan –their introduction and one night stand but reveals very little about the ensuing years. Logan spent one year in prison following an assault on a police officer, but the information is limited as to the who, what and why. The background about the cruise ship fire is also limited although we know that the three friends have sworn to do something about their one big regret while floating out to sea, waiting to be rescued.

The rekindling of the relationship is immediate. Logan is a man who goes after what he wants, and he wants Abigail Parker. Now that she has revealed the existence of their daughter, Logan is more than determined to keep Abigail in his life. The $ex scenes are intimate, intense and erotic. The world building focuses on Logan’s relationship with Abigail and his daughter; as well as his heated romance with the woman who continues to star in his real-life fantasies.

HIS FANTASY GIRL is a story about heartbreak and loss; the emotional journey about two people whose lives went in different directions; and about first impressions, judgmental attitudes, and a double standard in the work place. The premise is enjoyable; the characters are fated; the romance is sexy and energetic. Abigail has no problems starting back up where it all began.

His Fantasy Girl is a standalone novel by author Nina Croft. It is written in alternating third person from the main characters point-of-views. It has an HEA and no cliffhanger. Don't let my rating on this book fool you, I did enjoy it. As much as I did enjoy it though, it was middle of the road for me.

I have to admit that I was hugely confused with this book at first. I thought I was possibly reading the wrong thing. Reading the synopsis for it you'll have conflicting information depending on where you get it. Mainly it comes down to the heroine's name. One place you're told it is Imogen, another you're told it's Abigail. Well, it ends up being Abigail in the book, and is shortened to Abby.

Aside from that issue, the book was well written and I'm not about to hold a synopsis against an author. This book is a story line/Trope that I hadn't read before. I typically avoid books with ex-cons in them but this His Fantasy Girl just jumped out at me. Plus when you find out the reasoning for why Logan even went to jail it makes it completely different, or at least it did for me.

Abby has moved on with her life. The only time she thinks about Logan is when she looks at her daughter. She also might secretly still considering her night with him, the best of her life. Too bad he was arrested the next morning. Abby has a job she loves, is working toward promotion, takes care of her daughter and doesn't seem to have any issues or hangups.

Logan, on the other hand, has thought about Abby for years. In fact, for a year straight, he dreamed of her every single night. She was what got him through it all. He never sought her out after getting out of jail, but was more focused on picking up the pieces. So years later, he's still thinking about her and a brush with death forges a pack between three men (Logan's Buddies) to check up on the woman from their pasts.

Logan wasn't expecting to still be attracted to Abby. Abby has a career to protect and a daughter to look out for, but she's still just as attracted to Logan. The spark between them in insane! These two struggle with circumstances around them and have to figure out how to make things work, if they even will work now.

Overall, as I stated before, I really enjoyed this book, so don't let the rating confuse you. I would highly recommend it, especially if you like Nina Croft books (I do!) and if you want to read a different twist on a second chance romance trope.

Honestly I first picked this one because of the author not really paying attention to the blurb or anything, just wanted to read it because she wrote it. I soon as I opened it up I realized this is a surprise because I have read mostly a different genre from her. When a author writes different types of romance it really shows if they are versatile and can they do it. Some pick not to but when they do I am always delighted that I can be given yet another part of their gift to us the reader. You are first given how this all came about with thanks to a nearly biting the big one but surviving they ask themselves what is one of their regrets. This one will center mainly around Logan and how he tells about when he was in prison the one thing that kept him going was his fantasy girl the one he had the one night with. This pushes him to now want to see if the real deal matches. Wow nelly I am intrigued now because I also want to see how she will react. Abigail is now a mother and even though it had not been easy things were starting to change. When he shows up at her door I was on pins and needles and prods her to come see him once the shock is worn away. She has a right to be that way also because she was given something to remember that night whom she cherished-Jenny. by now though I am wrapped up tight in this novel with the author pulling the strings because I just love a happy ending and this has to be one right? Logan will be given several surprises also, she is a cop and has his daughter. You will be stuck like glue with them as the go forward with him exploring the fantasy girl and getting to know his daughter. Humor will be in there at times that will have you chuckling out loud with other times drooling. All in all this was one I was glad I entered because it had everything I would want in a hot contemporary romance with a twist added. Characters that had you interacting with them even though they can not respond LOL. Does he have any regrets now? The answer is in there.

Nightclub owner Logan McCabe had a near death experience and he decided he needed to go back and find that girl that he left behind, the one that he really left his heart behind with. They had one magical night together and he split on her. After almost dying, it realizes its time to go back and see if they have a chance together after all this time apart. Thing is—about 11 years ago he ended up going to prison and that set his life straight.
Imogen Parker is police officer who lives her life on the straight and narrow. She has a 10 year old daughter who is her world. She made one mistake almost 11 years ago-she thought she met Mister Right but he left her and well she has her beautiful daughter and since then she has lived her life on the straight and narrow. Imagine her surprise when said ex shows back up wanting to start back over or pick back up and she is afraid to mention that they have a daughter together. The attraction, the chemistry is still there and still burns so hot. So they start seeing each other again. They start to indulge in some serious sexual liaisons. There is some emotional twists and turns and it even gets further deep when Logan finds out he is a father. There is pain and there is regret - - Does he forgive Imogen for not telling him about his daughter? Does she forgive him for not seeking her out after their one night together?
His Fantasy Girl by Nina Croft had so many things going on that I love from this line that Entangled: Brazen puts out everything month. I loved this story and I cannot wait for the next story from this author. The ending was fantastic and the MC were authentic and believable. This was a good story and I do recommend this story .

My Rating: 4.25 stars ****

First Impression: Extremely well-written with an engaging and dynamic hero.
I seriously, hardcore, loved this story. Not only did it combine a few really great tropes—one night stand, secret baby, different worlds—but it also had a hero and heroine that rocked some mega-hot scenes together.

Logan McCabe is a bad boy ex-con who’s managed to turn his life around in the past decade, but a near death experience makes him long for the woman who got him through some of the darkest days of his life—his fantasy girl, Abigail Parker. The woman who gave birth to the daughter he didn’t know he had.

Now in the past when I’ve read stories with these particular elements, I’ve always been weary of them, sometimes outright avoiding them, but this particular book combines things in a way that made me absolutely fall in love with the characters–and with the story. I get why Abby did what she did, and I get why Logan held onto the fantasy image of her for all of these years, too. The author did a phenomenal job bringing all the story elements of this book together and creating an unforgettably hot read with some fantastic emotional depth to the characters.

I love, love, love this story, and I so dig Logan. I love his bad boy exterior and his good man heart. He’s exactly the kind of guy I would want for his newly discovered daughter and for a woman like Abby, and vice versa. They fit so well together, and the story flowed effortlessly, making for a fast-paced and wholly magnetic read.

Do yourself a favor and read this book, folks. It’s got everything you’d want in a traditionally plotted romance, and yet, it’s done in such a fantastic and memorable way.

I loved it!

I found this story completely entertaining. Two very different people with a shared past come together again for two very different reasons. Logan McCabe comes from a family with a very shady past but he's worked hard to make something of himself and stay on the right side of the law. If there is anything he learned from his past mistakes is that he never wants to go to prison again. When a near death experience has him looking at his life, he decides he wants to find his "fantasy girl". The one who got away, but stayed in his mind and in his heart.

Abigail Parker has always been the good girl. Living her life according to others expectations. She knows Logan McCabe isn't right for her. She knew it 11 years ago and she knows it now. Yet the pull between them is intense. And there is the matter of her 10 year old daughter who desperately wants to know her father. How will Logan react to news of his fatherhood all these years later??

A great sexy read. I definitely recommend it.

The bonus star would be because of the result of 11 years ago - the bad boy - the dog - and the process for the happy ending.
What I less was how sensible Jenny was... good yes but too much a grown up for some part.

A night of passion that neither one of them can forget was exactly what Logan and Abigail needed. Just one night and they would go their separate ways and never have to deal with each other again. However things don't always work out like they are supposed to. Years later a situation occurs that brings Abigail back into Logan's life, and now the only thing tying the Ex-con (Logan) and the straight shooting detective (Abby) together is a daughter that is exactly eleven years old. I really liked this book because I found the characters really interesting and I couldn't get enough of their relationship. I loved Loan and how he was so cocky and fully of himself it was funny to see the reaction that it played on Abby and how much she wanted him as the book progressed, even though she knew that she shouldn't. I found this book to be a quick read however Nina Croft knocked it out of the park as ways of romance novels go. I liked how there was lots of passion and flames to it however there was a real story line behind everything so even if romance novels aren't really your thing you will still find parts to like with this one. I can't wait to read book two.

Full disclosure—I honestly couldn’t even get past the second or third chapter. It was just a bit too boring, and a bit too annoying. Every time I had to listen to the MMC’s perspective I started rolling my eyes. Mildly interested in MFC at first, but this to got boring pretty quickly, especially when she went from having perfectly sensible &!understandable reactions to acting in a way that made no gd sense except as a way check a box for tropes. Which I could deal with if there was some effort put into explaining or demonstrating her mindset & what was going into the decisions, but there wasn’t, and that plus the lack of any demonstrated chemistry past requisite “they’re hot” couldn’t hold my interest long enough to get past my various eye rolling. Nothing offensive, and unless it gets significantly worse I can def see this being a really fun read for a lot of people, I just couldn’t get into it.

the pacing of the story is rly bad and the beginning and ending are both super rushed/poorly written. there wasn’t rly any character growth or real relationship development either. for example, our mmc is a total free-spirited guy w commitment issues w an aversion to cops and our fmc is a cop w trust issues and is a stickler for the rules. despite this, our mmc immediately takes on the perfect father role after finding out he has a daughter who’s been kept secret from him for like 10 years and it only took him 2 days to think on it (even tho he never thought of having a family or getting married), which is just so unrealistic. furthermore, our mmc’s family immediately welcomed jennifer (the oopsies child), which seems counterintuitive to their family’s history in illegal endeavors.

tldr: this book is basically mild p0rn w bad plot w a hot and rich reformed bad boy as the mmc

This was probably more of 3.5, but I def think it deserved 4 stars bc I had been in a book slump and could not put this one down when I started. Now it was probably more insta-lust then insta-love but it worked. Logan was def very very afraid of commitment bc he acted like he didn’t care what others thought of him, but it more so he did that bc he didn’t want to be rejected. And of course, perfect Abby needed everything just right and was just scared on taking a chance on someone who basically turned her perfect, in order life upside down. But they found their way to each other and it was cute. The spicy scenes were also pretty good! Happy I read this!!

This is one hot steamy read. After nearly death experience Logan finds his fantasy girl who is all grown up. Abigal is shocked to see Logan again but she is keeping a secret and is time to reveal it. The attraction between them is still going strong and they can't keep their hands from each other. The story is easy to read and has likable characters. A story about family and love.

I received a complimentary copy of His Fantasy Girl in Exchange for an honest review. I'm pretty stingy on 5 star ratings, but this far exceeded my expectations. I loved everything about the plot, the characters, the dialogue, and writing style. The worse part is I lost sleep trying to get through this book. This is by far one of the best books I've read. .Way to knock it out of the park Nina Croft!
