Although I expected this book to concentrate more on the teaching side of speaking and speech analysis but all in all, the book has helped revealing a lot of information about current research into this field. I would definitely recommend this book to those especially interested in applied linguistics, the chapters are clearly organized and a myriad of resource websites and other resources are listed at the end which I think I will always consult whenever I am in a need of an academic book concerning the topic.
