About the author

Katarina Anna-Maria Gospic is a Swedish scientist and author. Between 2002-11 she studied physiology and medicine at Karolinska Institutet. In 2011 she started the consulting business Brainbow Labs, where she works as an author, speaker and consultant. In 2011 Gospic graduated from a course in cognitive neuroscience and studies in neuroeconomy on how our feelings work and what happens in the brain when we make decisions. With Martin Ingvar, she published a study indicating that humans have a born ability to react to injustices and that this reactions stems from the amygdala.

The parts about the brain are very few and very good (Katarinas contribution), the other parts are based on very old school thinking and is disrespectful. The author condences employees, calls them unintelligent children, and uses a reductionist mechanistic mindset that is grounded in slavery/plantations.

I suggest reading David Rocks work or Frederiek Fabritius work instead.

I am actually appalled that this book exists and is read by the corporate world.

Jättebra bok om ledarskap. Boken är lättläst och kommer med konkreta förslag. Många ledare och chefer hade behövt läsa denna bok :)
