If you want a sweet, small town romance this is a great pick. Perfect for a beach read. Single mom with a total douche ex meets new-to-town hot cop. Add in an adorable 3 year old boy and you have a heartwarming read!

I had no idea, when I opened this book, that I would read it as fast, as avidly, as I did. Seriously—it’s actually a little crazy how quickly I was sucked into Interference, and how reluctant I was to put it down. And I mean that in the BEST possible way, of course.
The first two in this series were books I enjoyed, but didn't find overly memorable. Case and point, this book references characters and events from the previous installments which I didn't quite recall—not that it changed how I read the book; it’s a standalone—and had to think about for a bit. But Interference was most definitely memorable, and easily the best book of this series so far. It was fun, flirty, and all-around a damn good read.
I went into it a little blind. I didn't read the blurb, so imagine my surprise when, instead of another hockey player, I got a sexy cop moonlighting as a juniors hockey coach, and the older sister of one of his players. Who is a single mother, to boot. LOVE. Immediately. What a fun tie-in to the rest of the series, with the connections Jason and Indie had to the hockey world. Not only that, it meant Interference wasn't bogged down with hockey stuff—not that there's anything wrong with that—and could focus on these two characters.
These two wonderful characters. Indie was sassy, Jason was caring. Indie was strong, Jason was thoughtful. Indie was passionate, relatable (oh, the “joys” of having a three year old…), and vulnerable. Jason was charming, funny and so very swoony. I mean, come on—show me a strong, handsome man who is good with kids and I'll show you the aftermath of an epic ovary explosion. And while his concerns about entering a relationship, the damage from his past, was perhaps a touch to weak to support his decisions, it didn't change the fact that when things got rough, I got worried.
Because I was SO invested in these characters and their lives. I would have loved to see a little more of them at the end, not because the ending wasn't lovely and perfect—it totally was—but because their happy made ME happy. So happy, I didn't even realize I'd read non-stop through to the last page until I swiped for more and found…the end. *Sigh* ~ Beth, 4.5 stars

I like Sophia Henry's writing style. It's fun and fresh. She tackles some heavy issues and is always realistic.
I liked the story of Jason and Indie. I didn't quite feel the "electricity" of these two so much but it was still enjoyable to read.

This book was just okay for me....nothing spectacular but not horrible either. If you're expecting this book to be about hockey, you will be disappointed. Other than the fact that Jason is a hockey coach and that he watches games with Indie and his brother, hockey isn't really mentioned much in the book.
Indie is a young, single mother who has been struggling to make her life better with the support of her mother and younger brother. The entire town knows how she got pregnant in high school and thinks that she became pregnant on purpose to trap her boyfriend who was going to college on a scholarship and who also happens to be the mayor's son. She has no time for men...that is until Jason catches her eye.
Jason came to the small town as a temporary stop on his career path. He is a police officer and ultimately wants to work/live in Detroit but knows he needs to get experience before that can happen. So he takes a job as a cop in a small town, intent on staying for no more than 5 years before returning to Detroit. He never considers staying permanently; the small town life is not for him.
When Indie and Jason meet, they don't hit it off right away. In fact, they spend more time teasing each other than anything. But ultimately Jason gets Indie to agree to a date and they do hit it off. They become very comfortable with one another and Jason even hits it off with Indie's son, brother and mother.
Then Jason meets Indie's ex (whom he has known for awhile without realizing it was Indie's ex) and this is where the story started to fall apart for me. Jason allows Tim's words to get to him and as a result Jason harshly ends things with Indie despite knowing that Tim has been absent for nearly all of her son's life and that Indie has absolutely no feelings for Tim. His words are harsh and hurtful; he gives little consideration to the impact that his leaving will have on Indie's son.
It's not overly clear how Indie ends up at the bar with Tim; we're led to believe that she doesn't really hang out with anyone from high school still but somehow ends up at a bar with all of them.
I was disappointed in the scene where Jason and Indie finally decide to sleep together. The author writes how Indie is practically freaking out in the bathroom worried that Jason will give her excuses not to use a condom. And then the next page has Indie asleep after sex....it was very disappointing that after all the buildup we didn't get to read about their first time together.
Overall, not a bad book but not something I'm likely to read again.

This is the 3rd book in the Pilot's series. Book one was Delayed Penalty about Auden and Aleksandr. Auden is in this book as she is Jason's sister, but only a little at the beginning. I didn't remember her being a little odd and maudlin, so this was a different impression of her than I had before (she wants to marry around the anniversary of her mother's death to try to replace a negative memory with something good). Jason was adopted as a baby and his adopted brother is Landon in book two Power Play. Landon is in this book for a brief and entertaining scene, but the heroine/Gabby is not. It was great to see brotherly bonding between the two and really drove the point that family isn't always biological.
I really liked Jason and really liked Indie/Linden. She's a strong single mother who sometimes blurts out the most hilarious things you never expect. She also has an amazing relationship with her 17 year old brother and her mother, both who have helped her raise her toddler, Holden. She's struggling with 2 jobs and going to school, but she's holding her head high and doing the best for her son.
Jason... I almost feel like we started going in a direction with his character, but it never fully reached its potential. I thought there would be more. He comes to accept his lot in life - yes, he was given up by his 16 year old mother for adoption, but to a wonderful and incredible family who could care for him in a way she couldn't provide. Although years later she has Auden, maybe Auden could have had a better childhood, something she's still dealing with and learning to enjoy every day. Auden had what Jason thought he was deprived - his mother "keeping" him, but it's not all he imagined.
Overall, I enjoyed the relationship built between Jason and Indie and that they took their time. Both of their mothers are a great addition and provided a lot of levity at key moments. I was surprised how independent/standalone Landon's book was and this was very similar. You can definitely read these as a standalone. I would suggest reading Auden's book 1 to get a better understanding of Jason's biological family, but reading book 2 about Landon is not necessary (and Jason never made an appearance).

Wooo Hooo, I had been waiting for Jason's story since the first book in this series and it was soooo worth the wait. Sophia Henry defiantely hits some heavy topics in this story.
Jason is a Police Officer for the town of Bridgeland as well as the high school hockey coach. He is the eldest adopted brother to Landon (Power Play) and Auden's biological brother Delayed Penalty. Jason has some deeply planted trust and abandonment issues.
Linden isn't your typical 20 year old, not only is she very protective of her brother but she is also raising a young son. Linden became pregnant in high school and the father of the baby has not been helping her raise him, he took off to college on a football scholarship and left her home to raise the baby alone. Linden will not get involved with an athlete she knows what type of heartache they bring.
I have to say that Sophia Henry did a wonderful job of meshing these two damaged souls. They worked well together even when they fought, trust did not come easy to either one of them so being able to see the struggles that they both battled in order to make their relationship work had me rooting for their HEA. This was a great addition to the series!

3 attempted a slap shot but missed stars. I wanted to love this because I like Sophia Henry's writing and hockey guys, but it was just likable for me. It was a sweet romance but just missed something I wanted. I don't know what, but it was definitely missing something. Part of the loss of stars comes from the fact that the story is easily forgettable.
I respected how Linden was a single mother and kept her stuff together. That's beyond admirable and scored points for me as someone who was raised by a single mother for many years. Linden is pretty easy to like but she's also easy to forget about.
Jason's a bit funny and just slightly harder to forget than Linden. He is hard on her brother because he wants better for the teenager and struggles with Linden since she's got a mouth on her. He's a genuinely good guy and has a good heart.
Overall, the read is relatively easy without too much pull on your emotions. Thinking on it now, that's probably why it was a "wow" read for me. I'm big on having fits and screaming or crying while reading because it feels real. Anyway, I'll continue reading books by Henry and look forward to her next one.

I really enjoy this whole series. Fans of sports should have fair warning that although this series surrounds both pro and semi pro hockey teams, there isn't much sport in the books. That said, the author brings us very touching romance. This is book 3 and I am hooked on the writing.
I was not expecting the emotion from this one. I am a sucker for single parent stories. Then when I realized this one was about Auden's new found brother, Jason, I was even more intrigued. Both Jason and Linden have some messy parts in their past. Both don't seem willing to hand over their hearts. Sometimes it takes something worth fighting for to be taken away before we can see what is right before our eyes.
Very touching look at what makes up a family. Nice commentary on being a single mom and all the tough choices that come along with that. And of course there is love of all kinds spread throughout the book.
Looking forward to what else this author has to offer readers. Good job.

I couldn't finish this book. Interference by Sophia Henry sounded good but just didn't flow well for me. I felt Indie was kind of a snarky snob for no good reason and although Jason was a cop, he sounded immature. The dialoge felt young and choppy, as a romance book I feel the main characters need to have a sense of purpose and either smooth dialog or witty banter and these had neither. I'm disappointed because I really wanted to like this story. I might give the author another chance because it wasn't horrible writing just lacked a feeling of depth, maybe like the author was just meeting deadlines instead of writing what she really wants to write about.

This is the third book in Sophia Henry’s Pilots Hockey series, and it is the second one that I have read. This book is about Jason Taylor and Linden (Indie) Meadows. Jason is the brother of Landon Taylor from the second book. Although this is part of a series, the books are written as standalone novels. In this book the main male character is not a hockey player to say. He coaches hockey in the small town of Bridgeland where he is also a police officer. The Plot of this story has Jason Taylor working as a police officer in Bridgeland gaining experience until he can secure a position bac in Detroit. Jason didn’t count on meeting Linden, the older sister of one of his hockey players. She is spunky, isn’t afraid to go toe to toe with him and she is a single mom. He also didn’t count on forming an attachment with anyone. Commitment is not what he is looking for. His mother gave him up for adoption and the girl that he thought would be his forever didn’t want to be the wife of a cop. This is the third book in Sophia Henry’s Pilots Hockey series, and it is the second one that I have read. This book is about Jason Taylor and Linden (Indie) Meadows. Jason is the brother of Landon Taylor from the second book. Although this is part of a series, the books are written as standalone novels. In this book the main male character is not a hockey player to say. He coaches hockey in the small town of Bridgeland where he is also a police officer. The Plot of this story has Jason Taylor working as a police officer in Bridgeland gaining experience until he can secure a position bac in Detroit. Jason didn’t count on meeting Linden, the older sister of one of his hockey players. She is spunky, isn’t afraid to go toe to toe with him and she is a single mom. He also didn’t count on forming an attachment with anyone. Commitment is not what he is looking for. His mother gave him up for adoption and the girl that he thought would be his forever didn’t want to be the wife of a cop. This is the 3rd book in the series and my second. I thought this was a better book than the first one. Even though I am reading the stories out of order, it does not cause confusion. I liked both characters especially Linden. Her life went in a different direction than she planned. Having a baby at 17 threw her life of course. I thought she was very mature and did what she had to do for her and her son. Jason was sweet. He was a police officer from Detroit but didn't seem as worldly/mature as Linden who grew up in a small town. The story was cute and you just fall in love with Linden and her son. The antics of a 3 year will make anyone smile.

Interference is the third book in the Pilots Hockey series by Sophia Henry. Each book in the series is a standalone story, however fans of the series will recognize familiar faces since the characters are connected. Don't worry about starting here though if you haven't read the series as you do not need to read these in order to enjoy them. I have to say that while I have liked each of the books I have read in this series, I haven't loved them. I really thought that was going to be different here, but I ended up having some mixed feelings when all was said and done here. Good story and I did enjoy it, but it wasn't as great as it could have been.

So when her brother's new hockey coach yells at him and benches him during a game, she gives him a piece of her mind. But Jason Taylor is more than just the new hockey coach, he spends his days working as a police officer in their small town while working towards his goal of some day being able to get on the force in Detroit. Though Indie and Jason get off on the wrong foot, the chemistry between them is smoking and they decide to see where things go. But with Jason wanting to move, Indie being a single mom not looking to leave, and Indie's ex trying to get back in the picture...can they possibly have a future together?
I liked both Indie and Jason. Jason was so great with Indie's son Holden. He was sweet and caring, and I loved that he was very natural with him. He didn't trying to treat him like a baby or take the place of his father. He was just so good with him and it was really cute to watch. Indie was strong and had made some tough choices, but she didn't view them as decisions that needed to be made. She just did what she felt was right and the best she could for her family. I liked how her son was always first and that she was so close to her family. Same with Jason and his family. You could tell just how much family meant to each of them, and it was one of the many things that they had in common. These two had great chemistry, and I really loved seeing them spend time together as they built a connection.
I will say though that while I liked them, I didn't love this story. I thought that there were several things that were predictable and there wasn't really any new ground broken here. This series might be the Pilots Hockey series, but each book has been pretty light on the actual hockey taking place. If you are looking for a sports romance story with a lot of action and hockey, these probably aren't going to be for you. I also felt like the situation with Tim went mostly unresolved, and what little we did get was unrealistic. The bar situation at the end didn't make much sense, and things just sort of disappeared after that. It felt like a ton of build up for nothing, and I wish that we had seen how everything with Tim played out. Overall, this one was just okay. I felt like it had some potential but ultimately was one that wasn't memorable. I really liked the characters and the strong sense of family for them, but that wasn't enough to carry the story for me.

ndie Meadows is a knockout single mother who got pregnant by the boorish quarterback in high school. She’s been making ends meet by living at home with her mother and younger brother helping her out with babysitting her adorable three-year old son while working two jobs and taking classes at the local college in a small Michigan town. She meets Jason Taylor, a new policeman in town who is coaching the hockey team that her teenage brother plays for. They’re immediately attracted to each other even when she’s giving him grief for his language with the teen boys or when he brings his mother into the bar where she is a bartender.
I enjoyed the growing relationship between Indie and Jason and how he interacts with her son. The relationship that each has with their own families is very sweet.
In the second half of the book revolves around Jason’s concern that he doesn’t want to stay in this little town indefinitely, but is waiting until he can get a job on the police force in Detroit. Indie’s lummox of an ex threatens that he would never let Indie take his son out of town. I’m not a divorce lawyer, but he is portrayed as the son of a wealthy family whose father is the town’s mayor. Yet he has never paid any money to help Indie take care of his son. The explanation given is that the parents think that she got pregnant deliberately. Well, even if she did, he would still owe money for his son. He repeatedly neglects to show up to take care of the little boy when he has promised to thus making Indie’s complicated babysitting arrangements fall down. How would such a deadbeat dad have the power to prevent her from taking the boy to a city two hours away? And wouldn’t a policeman be aware of those problems with the ex’s threats? I get that Indie was only 16 when she got pregnant, but Jason is supposed to be a policeman who comes from a loving and well-educated family. I hate it when a major premise for a novel turns on such a weak plot point and it interfered with my enjoyment of the story.

Interference (Pilots Hockey #3) by Sophia Henry Sophia Henry scores a hat trick with the third book in the Pilots Hockey Series, Interference. Linden (Indie) Meadows, finds her little brother’s new hockey coach, Jason Taylor, not only irritating but attractive. The two have some heated confrontations. Then Jason gains respect for Linden for raising her three-year-old son on her own, unlike his mother who gave him up for adoption. This contemporary sports romance takes place in Bridgeland, Michigan and Detroit. It is suitable for new adult/adult audiences.
Sophia Henry does a great job with both her plot and character development. The characters’ deal with many emotional issues and grow throughout the novel. I love how the story shows two different viewpoints of a similar situation: Linden keeping and raising her son as a single mom, and Jason, who was given up for adoption, it made some interesting dynamics and situations.
I like how the characters are interrelated. Jason is the biological brother of Auden Berezin from book one, Delayed Penalty. He is also the adopted brother of Landon Taylor from book two, Power Play. Plus, there are a whole bunch of other character connections that make the story interesting.
I love the banter of the Tayler family. They are a wonderful family that I would want to be friends with in real life. I appreciated that Auden and Landon were in this story. I love Indie’s son Holden. He is a cutie. His dad, Tim, is a jerk.
There were a number of interesting twists in the story. The plot was heartfelt and believable. I enjoy Sophia Henry’s writing style and look forward to her next book.

This is the third book in the Pilot Hockey series and I was hoping again this one would be about Hockey but I was a little disappointed that this wasn't a full on hockey romance but it did have some redeeming qualities that I ended up enjoying.
Jason is a police officer and moved to Bridgewater to get his career off but plans to move back home. He's currently coaching high school hockey as well which is where he meets one of his players sisters, Linden.
Linden loves her family and can be protective of them but when she sees her brothers coach giving him a hard time she doesn't do it quietly. Then just her luck she gets pulled over by the same man but what surprises her the most is when he asks her out.
What I loved about indie and Jason was the cute banter they had. Sure they had this attraction to one another but when they got going I couldn't help finding myself chucking along.
I really also liked how Henry put the spin on Jason's trainer who just happens to be Indies ex and the father of their child. I wasn't expecting that and was really surprised with everything that came from that.
At some parts I grew a little frustrated with Indies ex and just wanted him out of the picture for good. Jason was great with her son and I love how they bonded. This story had it sweet and emotional moments but in the end I did miss the hockey. Hopefully the next book will include more.

This is one of a series, and I would recommend that you read the previous books first, as they are very good - and they introduce some of the characters that we meet this time too. Jason is one of these - and he is a delicious man, other than the chip on his shoulder about being given away by his mother and adopted. His growth to understand that better is a significant undercurrent in this book, and is beautifully done. Whilst there is some sport in it, it is not as significant as in the other books.
Indie is a fun person, with a wonderful turn of phrase, and there are some wonderful moments of humour - as well as times when she too accepts some of her strengths and priorities. She is definitely wise beyond her years, and has an amazing support mechanism at home. In fact it was lovely that they both had families that were supportive, and made their easy relationship seem very believable. She is a sassy woman with a really fun little boy, who falls for a man who had a five year plan ... Jason has some difficult decisions to make.
If you want a sweet and steamy read, this provides exactly that

This was the story of Indie, a young single mom who's trying to make something of herself while her jerkface ex doesn't take responsibility. Indie meets Jason, a small town cop who coaches hockey on the side. Indie never hid the fact that she's a single mom and Jason was amazing! I totally fell for him. He was sweet, considerate, responsible. Then he listened to the jerkface ex and became a jerkface himself. At that point, all my love for Jason went right out the window. That he would listen to Tim and fall into that bs trap had me furious! Yes, I know Jason had a background that would make believing Tim's garbage easier, but Jason saw how things were and knew that wasn't the case. I'm glad he came to his senses, but I think Indie forgave him a bit too easy.
I LOVED the Taylor family actions (that's Jason's family). They were fun and I want to be a part of their family time! I also loved little Holden. He was a sweetie :)
All in all, a pretty good read. If you can look past Jason's epic screw up, you have a real winner here!

If you are a fan of romance books staring a single parent this is the book for you. Linden is a single mum raising her super cute son Holden with the help of her mother and brother. She is strong but not too proud to ask for help when she needs it. Our hero, Jason is a hockey coach and a cop. We get two lots of hotness in one guy. We also get a hero who is a hard worker, good with kids and generally a good guy.
There is instant physical attraction between our couple. I enjoyed their banter and the slow build of their dating. This is a good, fun romance with the requisite amount of turmoil to keep the reader hooked. It is also sexy without detailed sex scenes and I honestly didn't miss them. Interference is very good. A solid 4 stars.

ARC Review: Interference (Pilots Hockey) by Sophia Henry
My introduction to Sophia Henry and her Pilots series was through Power Play. Gaby and Landon had a meaty story but there was a disconnect for me. So I decided to try again with Interference. Ms. Henry is consistent in her willingness to tackle subjects that are painful. From the beginning she delivers that one, two punch. Complex people facing their demons and working to overcome them. Jason has baggage that has followed him into adulthood. From abandonment and trust issues, to an attraction that pulls the scab off a partially healed wound. Linden has worked to become a responsible young woman. An act of rebellion in her teens left her with more responsibility than she expected and the shame of disappointment. Interference redeemed Sophia Henry in my eyes. Sympathy, empathy and hope are the stepping stones to an amazing and inspirational story.

You know when you start a book and you are into it instantly? This is one of those books. I was really enjoying the book looked down and was at nearly 80% through - love it when that happens!
Loved the character of Indie - she came across strong, took no nonsense from anyone and put her son first in everything she did - a really strong h.
The H was great too - he did have his moments as they all tend to do. But he was supporting, caring and was great to Holden.
There was a little bit of a communication breakdown - but this was resolved quickly and didn't drag on which was great.
4* because I couldn't put the book down and loved all the characters. The story isn't anything new but I connected with the characters and the supporting ones - I would recommend giving this book a read!

Jason, he thinks he has game but, I'm thinking no, “I’ve got more where that came from.” I started the truck and backed out of her driveway. The soft hitch of her breath made me smile. “Surprises,” I clarified. “But we can play tonsil hockey later if you want to.” I loved Indie she had a quick wit, and she was funny as hell, “am I crazy? I’m crazy, aren’t I?” She looked at me again. “It’s been four years. You’d think I’d be all up on your wang.” I really liked this book, Jason was a great, caring man.

I'm from Detroit and live three hours away. I love the Redwings and hockey. I did not love this book but tolerated it because it was about Detroit and hockey (sort of). I liked the book until stupid Tim/Tone got "scaring off" Jason. That dialog and knowing enough about Tim's chance of a renewed relationship with Indie should of shut the next chapter from even happening. I was embarrassed reading how utterly ridiculous Jason handled it. Indie was a strong 20 year old and I gave the stars to her.

I liked the book until stupid Tim/Tone got "scaring off" Jason. That dialog and knowing enough about Tim's chance of a renewed relationship with Indie should of shut the next chapter from even happening. I was embarrassed reading how utterly ridiculous Jason handled it. Indie was a strong 20 year old and I gave the stars to her.

I enjoyed reading this book. The characters were all great and I loved the interactions between all the characters. I loved that little boy! He was great! I felt these characters and fell into this story and all its characters. The love between the family was really good to see. Past issues have to be overcome in order to get their happy ending, but they eventually are worked through. I enjoyed the epilogue and seeing how it all worked out for this couple. This was a good read.

This book bafflingly has nothing to do with hockey and has almost no hockey in it. The first 3/4 are just a regular sweet romance (pretty meh), and the last 1/4 completely falls apart. I probably would have given it two stars minimum, but the lack of hockey when hockey was advertised would cut it down to one star even if everything else had been perfect.

This is the third book in this series and you do have a few characters from the other two books. First Auden who found out long after her mother passed away that she had an older brother that the mother had given up for adoption. They find and met each other in the first book. This story is about Jason her brother, but also from a family that after they adopted him had two natural children they took in foster kids, and now not wanting to be empty nesters adopted twin boys who are now 12. A big family but he is still dealing with feelings of being discarded by his birth mother and does not think he is fit to be a father or in a long term relationship. He moved from Detroit to Bridgeland in order to get more experience as a police officer which he was in Detroit but was looking at a layoff. This way he could get time on the job, experience, so he could move back to Detroit. Besides police work, and working out at the gym he spent the other time coaching a youth hockey team. He played in college and a little in the minor league but knew he would not make the pros like his brother London which the second book is about. During the game, he sits one player and swears at him at the same time a woman walking by says watch your language coach. He has noticed her before at the games and thinks she is his mother. Wrong, sister. Linden Meadows has been fighting to barely stay above water living with her mom, brother, and three-year-old son which she gets no support from, but a judge still granted the father visitation. The father who was a local football star has never taken responsibility for his son and is always late is a total f- up but his dad allows it for some reason. He has no job. Any way Jason meets Lindon officially a few nights pulling her over for speeding. He lets her off when she says she has a family emergency but follows her to her house and she asks him why he is following her and he says since she had an emergency wanted to see if he could be of assistance or call for an ambulance. Frustrated she says no and storms into the house. A few nights later he shows up where she works and sits at her station. He brought his mother and though she is busting his chops she likes him and his mother and agrees to go out with him on a date. She has not gone out or anything in 4 years. Just work, school, and most importantly her son. She has a good time and they continue dating, but each one of them has things they need to work out together and he needs to come to grips with the idea of his birth mom throwing him away like dirty clothes. She helps him with this but he is still scared. The story takes you through four months and you as a reader are hoping he pulls his head out of his ass. I will say I do like the part of him taking care of Holden’s deadbeat father. I also like her dealing with the adoption issue. Because no matter what being adopted there are always things you must work through. This was a good book going along with the first two books, but you don’t need to read them to read this one. Interference is the third book in the Pilots Hockey series. I really enjoyed the first two books in this series, especially Delayed Penalty. It was there that we were first introduced to Jason. I fell for him right from the start! He seemed so sweet and funny, and I was delighted to hear that he would be getting his own book.
For the most part, Interference was a quick, fast-paced read, and I found myself engaged in the events in the story. If I'm being completely honest, however, my biggest problem was the characters. I honestly didn't recognize Jason. He seemed like a completely different person than he was in the previous books. For instance, he seemed a lot less vulnerable and more edgy in Interference than he was before. I started to like him (again) towards the end, where I saw some glimpses of the "old Jason". With that said, I just didn't like Indie. I felt bad for her circumstances and I admired her drive to get an education in order to make a better life for her and her son. Nevertheless, when it came to her personality, she just came across as...kind of ...bitchy. Jason said she kept him on her toes, but I thought she was just rude and had a major attitude at times. I wanted more for Jason.
With that said, I will definitely be continuing the series. The next book is about my favorite character so far, and I cannot wait to get to know him better!
