Nath Dragon triumphed over his greatest foe, Gorn Grattack, bringing peace and order back to the world of Nalzambor ... mostly.
Now, bored of ruling from the Dragon throne, Nath and his dwarven comrade Brenwar Bolderguild, set out to solve one of the greatest mysteries of all. Who and where is Nath's mother? Does she even exist? Is she imprisoned?
Still yet, evil is far from vanquished. It lurks in the caves, the mountains, the shadows and in deep in the hearts of all the races. It's not long before it takes on a new powerful manifestation, a breed of dragons the likes never seen before.
How many dangers must Nath and his colleagues face?
What path must Nath take to find out the truth?
How high is the toll?
Is he willing to pay it?

A bored Nath dragon decides to find his mom...they find clues that lead them on a dangerous quest in which he accidentally releases a bunch ancient evil spirits -- oops! These books have been a life saver in terms of keeping my 14 year old busy during covid, all the shut downs and boredom of being stuck at home. A phenomenal beginning to series 2!
This has been very clean series with their own made up curse words like "Great Goozon!" The violence hasn't been overly graphic and the romance has been minimal. These are geared more for boys in older elementary and middle school reader age group and up. Really anyone who loves dragons and adventure stories will love these books, but do start at the beginning of series one.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
I wasn't sure if the adventures of Nath Dragon and company would much different from the first series in the Chronicles of Dragon, which were great! Yet, I wanted to find truly new exciting adventures to read about. Could Craig deliver this in his newest Nath Dragon books? The answer is a resounding YES as I just discovered in reading Tail of the Dragon. So, I am now eagerly looking forward to reading this newest series in the Chronicles of Dragon. Go Dragon!
Listened to audio narrated well by Lee Alan. The audio includes additional sound effects along with great voices to the dwarf and the dragon. Some of the additional effects worked really well, but a few seemed a bit odd.
This series is a continuation of the Chronicles of Dragon. Now that Nath Dragon is King. he and his dwarven friend Brenwar Bolderguild start a quest to find Nath's mother. Along the way they find trouble that is caused by Nath's poor choices and plots against the dragons.
Nath Dragon is about the unluckiest Dragon you can imagine. Destined to be Dragon King our young for a Dragon hero is always getting into trouble and endangering the whole world. Good thing he has such great friends at his side to help.
Fantasy adventure in which the hero conquers his land but bores of ruling. He sets out with a companion to seek his mother. along the way, he encounters enemies and dragons.
I as one of the fans of Nathan am extremely happy to have him back. Though this book is more of a tease. It is a little short but does wet your appetite for the next book.
Great continuation of the first series. As usual, Halloran gets me misty eyed with the touching moments he includes. Such a great culmination of adventure, fantasy, humor, action, and the kind of characters a reader becomes attached to.
Great read. Fast paced and lots of action. Having read the dark slayer series I know that the fun is just beginning. Keep the books coming and I 'll keep reading.
Love the adventures. The writing is very descriptive, so you can let your imagination run and see the action. Just love the previous series and look forward to further adventures of Math Dragon. Great book for teens or anyone who likes fantasy.
Since I haven't been exposed to the world of dragons very much I find it very intense and full of action. I love being told about the different types of dragons and the various creatures that existed with them.
