Jeannette grew up in a large family, number ten out of eleven children, eight of them being older brothers. She quickly developed a great sense of humor, mostly from necessity. One of her greatest joys is sitting on the porch where they were all raised and hearing the stories from years gone by. Quietly laughing to herself, she notices how they embellish the stories more and more each year.

Storytelling was passed down from her grandfather and mother. Jeannette caught the bug at a very young age. If she didn’t have her head in a book, then she was off somewhere with a notebook, jotting down stories of what she would write if one day she became an author. Although the notebook may have vanished, the stories are still vivid and waiting for the right time to be told.

Despite having an amazing family, there have also been some sorrows in her life, including the loss of loved ones. Over the years, Jeannette has spent countless hours volunteering for different organizations and acting as a caregiver to those dearest to her. As a result, supporting the elderly became of utmost importance.

As she approached a milestone birthday in 2015, she decided to take her passion for writing and blend it with her desire to continue to help others. As she writes her stories, she hopes they touch someone’s life. Within the layers of the romance, the foundation remains throughout and is one that is dear to her; make a difference in someone’s life each day!

In 2016 she met someone who encouraged her to push herself even further and try her hand at spicy intrigue. One year later she has four books in this new series and each one pushing her limits just a bit further.

Like the wind, Jeannette’s life changed directions several times over the years, yet one constant remains: her desire to leave this Earth a little better than when she entered it as she tries to live by these words, Make your mark on the world today as your acts of kindness is all anyone will remember in years to come!

Jeanette Winters is up to snuff in this latest adult romance. Suspense is the name of the game and the locale is very different and ever changing. Looking forward to her next book.

Jeannette Winters - Betting on You Series: The Billionaire's Long shot: Book 3

Background: Four College friends life changed when their college friend Brad died in an accident 5 years ago. Trent, Jon, Drew and Ross found out that Brad was not as interested in making money as they were, he wanted to help those in need and had a vision on how it “Takes One” to make a difference.

Ross Whitman the third billionaire bachelor in the series believes his life is great just the way it is. He is a renowned designer/builder of luxury sail boats and sought after around the world. He has no thoughts of ever getting married and having children. When he met Jill Aragao, he wanted a physical relationship only.

We met Jill Aragao in book 1 and 2 in this series as Elaine Manning (now Davis) assistant and friends with Lizette Burke at the not-for-profit agency in Rhode Island. Elaine and Lizette are starting their own company working with not-for-profits and help take “Takes One” globally. They have asked Jill to be the third partner in the new endeavor.

We find out that Jill’s parents were killed in an accident and only have one sister that is always disapproving of the way Jill lives her life. She is excited to move to New York and prove to her sister that she is very capable of being successful on her own with her help.

We meet Ross’s parents which gives us insight to why he put walls around his heart. His mother is one of the most manipulative, loveless, critical and disapproving mother and wife ever. Ross was never going to have a marriage or family and risk a home like he had.

When their feelings turn red hot by just being near each other, Jill is determined to show Ross that he doesn’t have to wall up his heart from her and prove that he is capable of love after all. But, Ross is determined to walk away if she wants more than a physical connection.

Find out what happens with Jill and Ross. You won't regret it.

I'm not a fan of whirlwind romances even if I read books like them. That said, romace and love story wise, I'd say Ross and Jill's story is the one I love the most so far. I like the other two novels too but comparing Jill and Ross' story with them I felt like the two of them were not in a rush to fall in love. The conflicts that kept them apart to achieving their happy ending was also played well. What I like most is the fact that Ross took an effort to retrace his path back home and know his parents better. It helped me understand him and know him more thus helping me feel like I was part of his journey and not merely reading it. I could also feel the characters emotions more here. Don't get me wrong, the first two were not bad, only this time I can see how the author grew along with her characters. Compared to the first time I read this author's book I can say that I felt more emotionally invested and involved in this one than the other two.

The only thing I can comment about on this book was the part of Jill's conflict with her sister. I felt like it was not really discussed that much at all. Or maye it's just me expecting that Jill would somehow resolve her issues with her sister the way that Ross did with his family.

Aside from that, I can say that I enjoyed the story as a whole and given the chance and time I'll probably read it again. And of course, I'll be reading the next one.

Very good HEA story.

This is book three in the series. I would encourage you to read book 1(which is free) before this one. It would allow you to meet the characters in the story and how each book builds on each other. The characters have depth and allow you to connect to them. This is a standalone book that is part of a series. If you like the happily ever after than this series is for you.
Overview (might spill the story a little). Jill has decided to move to NY to be with her friends Elaine and lizette. They are starting an event planning business. Her first event is for therapy dog on the Whitman's vineyard. This means she will need to contact Ross, whom she has been crushing on since Lizette's engagement party. Ross has been fighting his feeling for Jill too. So when he agreed to this even, he decided that he was going to make a romantic weekend with Jill too. He wanted to show her romance and bed her, but not want a full relationship. But all goes wrong when their friends find out that he kidnapped her, took her virginity, and dumped her. Ross keeps fighting his feels while Jill keeps pushing in hopes he will break and share. Both will discover things along the way.

This is the third book in the Betting on You Series. In this book it follows Billionaire Ross Whitman and Jill Aragao.

Meet the ever handsome billionaire Ross Whitman who wasn’t looking for love. He was content in his lifestyle, as renowned designer of luxury sail boats and one of the world’s hottest and most eligible bachelors.

Jill Aragao is so focused on one thing Jill is proving she had what it takes to be successful in New York. When Jill makes it or break it opportunity finally arises, Jill is faced with only one obstacle Ross and he’s bound to be a major handsome distraction.

Sparks begin to fly and they ignite between Jill and Ross and it was something neither of them had anticipated. One night changes everything for them.

Jill falls for Ross a man who says he doesn't believe in love is always a bad idea to fall in love. Jill's heart didn’t get the memo that Ross doesn't believe in love!

Can Jill and Ross work through their problems and can Jill make Ross change his mind about falling in love.

I love how Jeannette Winters writes. It definitely helps to break the stigma of the rich and the poor in different worlds.

There should be an option for more than 5 stars as i would definitely give her more but have to settle for 5

Jeannette Winters you owe me a box of tissues lol...I was enchanted by your work. From the time I started reading this I could not put it down. With very book you write you make great improvement. I am so glad we were introduced to your wonderful world.

Jill-Such an outgoing person. Meeting her at first she was really outgoing with the hair dying and such. But once she was asked to go to NYC to start a business with Lizzette and Elaine she change her look. But I was glad her personality stay the same. I did feel for her a lot more then the previous two female characters. The last scene on the boat nearly killed me.

Ross-Can I hit him. He was closed off. Hot of course. But a pain in my butt. I can understand why a man can never truly apologize. But we have learned so much of why he is the way he is so he is forgiven. But he owes me a box of tissues.

I have cried for some books. But never had a full blown tear fest. I loved this book and I highly recommend you check this out. Oh and I so loved the visitors. If you read her sisters books then you know what I mean. I can't not wait to see what Jeannette has in store for Drew.

What a wonderful addition to Jeannette Winters's Betting on You series! The Billionaire's Longshot brings together two totally opposite people. Ross Whitman is a eligible bachelor, a renowned boat builder who is content with his life. Ross doesn't do love and surely not looking for love. Jill Arago is in New York wanting to prove to herself and others she can be a success. But what is the saying? When You least expect it!! Jill and Ross are attracted to each other and they certainly have chemistry that leads to a romance but not without problems along the way! I really encourage to read Jill and Ross's story to find out the rest of their story, I am sure you will not be disappointed. I wasn't!! I love revisiting with characters from the other books in this series. While you are at it check out the other books in this series, they are winners along with this one. A very talented new author, looking forward to reading more from Jeannette Winters!

What a difference 3 books makes! I have found it harder to put each of your books down. Ross seems to have been the toughest nut to crack. He thought he had it all figured out until Jill entered his life. He based his entire life on his parents and what he saw never bothering to ask...for a smart man not a smart choice! I loved their chemistry even though they no correction HE chose to play it off. First it was her age then it was this or that. It took finally reading Brad's journal to finally knock some sense into his thick skull but was it too late....I think I want to punch her sister, she is definitely a donna downer! When they had their explosion on the balcony and everyone heard and the lioness in Elaine came out it was really good to see. I love how Elaine has taken her under her wing and considers her like a sister Elaine is exactly who she needs. I am anxiously waiting for book for...Drew has been a riot in the other books, I cannot wait to see what is in store for him!

Jeannette Winters my be a fairly new author, but you won't be able to tell it by the books she writes. The Billionaire's Longshot is the third book in the Betting on You series and I can assure you that this series just keeps getting better and better.

Ross and Jill are a couple that I absolutely loved. Their story is fun to read, it had me laughing out loud at times and then there were the other emotions it brought out.. From wanting to smack a certain person in the back of the head to being charmed by how sweet they could be, this book is sure to get your attention.

Ross considers himself a confirmed bachelor who is happy in the way he lives his life.
Jill is focused and determined to make it in New York.
What seems to be love starts to occur, is Ross capable of love, will Jill's focus waver?
Wonderful storyline and character development.

Though this is Book 3 in The Betting on You series it is a standalone read

Another fabulous Billionaire story in this series. Ross is convinced he will never fall in love. He just doesn't believe in it. After all look at his parents. That's before Jill Aragao comes into his life and has him really looking at himself and his life. I highly recommend this one.

Good story

This was a good story I thought the disconnect between Jill and Ross went on a little too long. I enjoyed the fundraising part the best...especially with Dominic and the others from Ruth Cardello's book showing up. Overall it's worth reading.

I not only love this book, I am very happy how the characters Jeannette writes flow in order.
I had hoped the next book would be about Jill. Ross is a lucky man. Jill really stands by him, waits for him no matter how long it takes. 5 stars

I liked this book better than the previous one. I like all the characters but I do find the stories overly long. For two supposedly intelligent grown up people they created an awful lot of angst!!
