Had several quick and easy Indian food recipe books and found this one to be less than satisfactory. While the food styling was nice, the preparation is backwards. Typically in Indian cooking, spices are bloomed in ghee and then the meat or vegetables are added to cook. In Steele's recipes, the ingredients are always browned in vegetable oil and spices added in during the last of the cooking.
