In terms of the style of the book, I can see what it was trying to do by gently sneaking in some Roman history and Latin phrases into the story so I do applaud that, but the humour was rather tedious and mostly went over my son's head.
I didn't realise this was part 2 in a series, but no matter, we managed to pick up the story (with some difficulty as there are SO many characters!!) only for it to end abruptly and have us need to get book 3 to make sense of where the heck the story was going. What a waste of time! We got nowhere!! 😤
